Wonderful Inside and Out

We had a group of 16 co workers and we all had a comfortable space without feeling like we were on top of each other. Lisa was easy to contact and quick to reply. There were even 2-3 "extra" fun things that helped make staying at the house a fun experience. We didn't have any kids, but it would be so fun for families!!

Perfect Stay

You couldn’t find a better place for kids! From the pool to the playground and the house with a movie room, dress up closet, toy closet, craft cupboard and kids books we couldn’t ask for more. The kids were entertained our whole 4 day stay. Jim was very responsive to any need and quick to fix any issues. We made some wonderful family memories here and hope to be back!

Jameson Family Christmas

Our group of 18 loved everything about our stay. With ages ranging from 2 to 78, it's hard to find any location that has interests for all, but this one did. There was room for each group to take part in the activity of their choice without being on top of others and their interests. The kids especially loved the stay - they were busy from the time they opened their eyes until they closed them at night. They're already asking to do it again next Christmas!! Highly recommend to groups of all sizes/ages.

Wonderful getaway

The house was more than large enough for the 16 of us. The pool was wonderful and we used it everyday. The kitchen was big enough for some us to cook and others to sit and talk while we were cooking. The kids and teens loved the movie room. We played lots of games at the large dining room table.

Great Vacation

Our family absolutely loved our experience at this house! The owners have gone well out of their way to have things to do while staying. Our 13 year old niece LOVED the scavenger hunt!!!!Our 4 year old niece LOVED the toys and things for her to play/play on. And was totally into the dress-up closet!We all LOVED the amount of room we had. And we’re thankful there was a Christmas tree up for Christmas Really, the only way to improve would be maybe make sure all the light bulbs are working and make sure all the pots and pans are induction stove compatible.We've discussed coming back here in the summer!

Memory Maker

We had 21 people, ages 1-72. Everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen is awesome. Two washers/dryers were very helpful with the little ones. It’s a beautiful setting and we enjoyed everything so much!

Beautiful property with lots to do

This house is both gorgeous and comfortable. Kitchen is great for cooking and there are plenty of areas to relax. Pool and pool house are very nice. Everything from lights to ceiling fans and tvs are all controlled with multiple remotes, so be prepared to spend some time figuring everything out and not all of it has good instructions. Check the temps of the pool or swim spa upon arrival and adjust them so they have time to warm up.

A great home for family gatherings

We had a multi-generational get together at this home. Kids and adults had a great time. The check in was at 4pm. We got there at 5:30 and cleaning crew was still on premises which was a bit disconcerting seeing multiple cars parked in the driveway, but they were finished and very helpful. Communication with owner was easy and responsive. We had a great stay and highly recommend this house if you want a great place to just hang out together and relax.

Family Union

The house was plenty large enough for our family group and had great communal space for gathering, meals, games. The setting was lovely- water views, playground for kids and pool. The outside spaces needed clean up- we had to clean all outside furniture before using and some of the cushions were not usable. Though we did not opt to have the pool heated we were not expecting it to be dirty and unusable at all. Perhaps the seasonal clean up has not been done? I would also suggest toilets be replaced with handicap height- these were extremely short and small. Enjoyed our stay- had great fun with our family and that is what we came for!

Star Gaze at this East Texas Home

I chose this property because of the great reviews. The amenities offered for my children and grandchildren were also important in my decision. Upon rental and before we arrived prompt communication with the owner was very much appreciated. Instructions for home entry, parking, etc were very clear. This house is in a beautiful, quiet community. There was plenty of room inside this large house. The outdoor amenities made it easy to sit and look at the night sky where the stars really are big and bright! Kitchen amenities were good. The coffee/tea bar was a nice touch. Coffee beans were available to grind. Other coffee “tools” such as the French press were a plus. The grandkids loved the pancake and waffle bar with owner supplied syrup and pancake mix. (thank you!) There were many activities for the grandkids such as arcade games, movies, books, and kayaks. The massage chair was a hit with the adults. The swim spa was nice and clean. There were a few minor issues that needed attention before our stay. However, in speaking with the owner after our stay he assured me that these issues were resolved. I'm rating this five stars because of the property amenities and beautiful location. This was just what I was looking for to have a great getaway enjoyed by my family.

great family retreat

property was very clean and well stocked with all types of amenities. plenty of rooms for our group of 17 people with ages ranging from 11 months to 73 years old.. property manager was very easy to contact and made sure everything was up to our statndard

Perfect property for big groups!

Really a great house for a big family to gather! We swam, played games, enjoyed the large kitchen and movie room! Beds were comfortable and a bed for everybody!

Amazing Rental!!

This property is perfect for a family reunion and has something for every age (baby to elders). We had the best time and the host, Gigi, is so accommodating and goes over and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. Hoping to come back again really soon!!

Unique and fun place.

We had a family get together at Jerob's Place and had a great time. There were 5 children under 5 and all loved the house and all of the kid-friendly activities. We will definitely be back again.
