Situated on a rugged coastline, the Estate comprises an apple orchard, a natural creek and an array of trees (including birch, evergreen, hemlock, maple and oak varieties). Along with stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, guests can admire sweeping vistas of Acadia National Park’s Cadillac Mountain, Islesboro and the picturesque Blue Hill Peninsula directly from the property.

Longwood Estate is situated between Maine’s two largest cities, Portland and Bangor (a 1-1/2 hour drive from each location). Acadia National Park is also located 1-1/2 hours away by car. The closest large airports are Portland and Bangor, Maine (a one-hour flight from New York); the closest small airport is in Rockland, Maine. In addition, the nearest private airport is in Belfast, Maine (less than a 10 minute drive from the Estate). Guests will find a cozy tranquil retreat featuring one king bed and a twin trundle bed, ideal for a couple or family of 3 or 4.
