"Apparently this was an Extended Stay America location before being acquired by Choice a month or so ago. Looks like very little was done to upgrade the property however. The walls were dirty, toilet fill ran on/off all night, damaged formica in the kitchen and bath. Not sure if there was anything in the kitchen drawer as it would not open. AC worked and the bed was okay.
Vent-a-Hood hasn't been cleaned in years. Light and fan didn't work.
The entry door was so quirky that the staff had to explain exactly how to open it or you'd never get in.
Looks okay outside but the inside is BEAT UP."

"The front staff checking in was not helpful and had a little attitude about nothing, but the staff on duty when I checked out was fabulous. The drink stations were not kept up. Coffee was out, sugar was everywhere, that area looked dirty. The gaming floor was clean and they do have plenty of games to play. I spend a lot of time at Choctaw Casinos so was really excited to try Cherokee, but from this experience, I will probably stick to Choctaw if I am wanting a weekend getaway but wouldnt mind just gambling at Cherokee if passing by…"
