With hardwood floors, new furniture, and brand-new bedding from its 2018 makeover, this unit features eight-foot glass-sliding doors opening onto a grassy patio above the sand.

Ground Floor Beachfront Studio - Sleeps 3! Pool and Sauna!

Summary:

'Prawn Solo' is what we call this cozy oceanfront studio. It can sleep up to three people by way of a queen size bed and a pull-out, has a full bathroom and a full kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!



The Space:

Need a private oceanside suite for you and a special someone? Unit 112 is perfect for you. This unit, which we call “Prawn Solo,” is perfect for a couple, or someone running solo.



This suite can sleeps three with a queen bed and a love seat that can converts into a twin bed. It has a full kitchen with range oven, a flatscreen TV, plus a DVD player and dedicated Wi-fi. Your wireless Internet is password-protected for your exclusive use.



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna.

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool.

Loved the patio sliding door, FULL kitchen with equipment. Was a little upset that the stairs by patio are closed but overall still enjoyed our stay and will book again.

Location was amazing. Sat out in the grass each morning drinking my coffee and watching the waves. Amazing views and beach! Had all your basics and cooking essentials. Could use some deep detail cleaning but we had a great time!! Will stay again!

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our stay. The main pro is the beach access. With the fires at night on the beach the wind would blow the smoke up to the room. So, with the door closed we relied on the fans provided. 4 fans in the room. One missing buttons and didnt work, other fan worked but knob missing so couldn’t adjust, third fan an obviously very old fan ended up dusting a mouse nest throughout the room when I turned it on. I reached out through VRBO and via text with no acknowledgement of this pretty nasty experience. Overall just didn’t feel clean probably because it is pretty old and will not be going back.

We needed a" get away" and the Sea Gypsie filled that need. The view of the ocean was great. We enjoyed our stroll on the beach and had a relaxing time. The room met our need. The only thing we would suggest is that the curtain covering the sliding glass doors could have been a little wider and easier to close when needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

A little disappointing

This was my 4th stay at Sea Gypsy and I must say this particular unit was not as enjoyable as my previous experiences. There was A LOT of sand already on the floor upon arrival and the floors were very sticky! Only one small area rug near kitchen.There was no stopper in bathroom sink. There were small blood stains on the mattress cover near the headboard, and the sheets appeared to be one size too small! There was no screen at the sliding door so the ocean breeze contained numerous insects. I HATE to complain, so I did not. I will continue to visit the Sea Gypsy - but I will not be staying in Prawn Solo #112 again —

The lock pad and the code did not work and i was left stranded for over an hour because i was unable to get in. it was also very difficult to get a hold of an after hour emergency number they gave me, Thankfully, the pool guy Kirk was able to let us in. He was kind enough to run 2 blocks down on his off time to help us after i called the different phone number by the pool. There was no help, none of the codes worked and the shower took a long time to figure out. The worst experience of my life was not being able to open the condo after driving three for 6 hours and being stuck outside with no help for an hour!!

The room was good and clean this year but the back sliding glass door needs to have the rollers replaced before someone gets hurt trying to open it please go check it out for yourself the door is very hard to open and even harder to close. This truly is a safety hazard. We had fun playing as a family, watching the kites and walking the strip checking out the shops

Everything was great except for three items, the exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to be replaced. It does not even exhaust the moisture out of the bathroom. Door is hard to open to get into the room for the floor is warped. Sliding glass door to the outside is hard to open could use some WD-40.

I feel happy because my body feel the energy I need to relax. I'm going to rent again when the time come. The door need to fix it touching the floor including the sliding door going the back. Bathroom celling fan need a new bearing. And when I put the fry pan on the stove is not balance it need to balance. I want stay here again.... Thank you

Cute little studio

Room was cute & cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay, plus the beautiful views of the ocean. The only complaints we have are that the curtains are not wide enough to cover the whole sliding glass door, which leads to less privacy when changing, etc and the sliding door was hard to open & close. My husband recently had shoulder surgery & was unable to open & close the slider himself. Other than that, great little place!

Prawn Solo is Perfect for Me!

I love the Sea Gypsy! This particular unit is perfect for my "solo" trips to the beach! It's cozy and conveniently located. The full kitchen allows me to cook as much or as little as I like. There is no better proximity to the beach! It's become my home away from home. I'll be back!

Very Beautiful stay and with one amazing view! The room was clean and smelled good and everything was fresh. One star taken off due to needing the heat turned to 90 and took 4 hours to heat up the room to even get to 70°.

I originally booked this room for my parents and their 60th anniversary. I needed a room that had no stairs easy access to the ocean and this room was perfect! We had miscommunication on how long they were supposed to get to stay so they came home a day early. So my husband and I went back to use the room because we didn't want to go to waste. And it was phenomenal I can't wait to go back again.
