You won’t get what you paid for

Not polite front desk staff is just the tip of the issues my husband and I encountered on our trip. We decided the room we originally had wasn’t what we wanted. So we booked at paradise for a lot more money than where we had a reservation. We didn’t get the room we reserved, front desk wasn’t helpful. I really wish we wouldn’t have changed. The other room was bigger, cleaner, and actually gave us what we reserved with a smile.

Just basic

We have stayed this motel before. It was under different name. Last time we were on ground floor. This time we were on second floor, I don't kniw it made any differences. It was noisy. I can hear the conversation on hallway, from downstairs, outside. Amenities were minimum. They don't have coffee maker. Because of covid, there is no breakfast at all. Pillows were disappointing, no support what so ever. But bed was comfortable. It's along Hwy 101 but I didn't hear any traffic noise. Close to restaurants and shopping,beach access.

Pleasant stay.

Very nice clean older place. I wished they had coffee in the morning I understand the no breakfast, well sort of, but coffee is not difficult to provide.

Very clean room. The phone was disconnected and the tv remote barely worked. Required a $50 refundable deposit when I checked in because I paid online. No coffee in the room and no breakfast or coffee down stairs due to COVID.

The staff was sweet and accommodating. However, the property itself was pretty run down. The rooms smelled like stale cigarettes, despite the "no smoking" signs on the doors. We were woken up one night by a warrior cry from a man being arrested by the police right outside of our window. We would have chosen a different location but everything else was sold out. Not the best experience but I guess you get what you pay for.

Stay somewhere else.

The lady at the front desk was very sweet. She explained that only one house keeper showed up, that was unfortunate. We got checked into our room. The dresser was filthy, dried food (or whatever) was stuck all over, salt was everywhere. There was dried feces all down the side of the toilet and the side of the bathtub. The room keys didn't work. The bed and pillows were hard as concrete. There were kids jumping and screaming all night and sketchy people in the parking lot all night. I'll pay the extra 80.00 for a much nicer room elsewhere next time.

The room looks nothing like the pictures. It was semi clean. It has the bare necessities only. No coffee maker. I was staying for a week for work they could have at least supplied a coffee maker or a place to sit instead of the bed and a kitchen chair.

Odd light and desk.

It was a good room and I slept comfortably. The arrangement of the desk and the lamp for it was odd though. The desk was on one side of the room in the corner and the light for it was attached to the wall on the opposite side of the room I didn't need it on this trip but often when I get a room I do some computer work and paperwork and that arrangement wouldn't have worked well. Room # 103.

Clean comfortable room in a great location

Very clean. Great central location, easy to locate. Due to The Virus there was no in-room coffee maker nor was there any continental breakfast. There was however a microwave and a small refrigerator and there were restaurants close by. Very comfortable beds! Our room was easy to access and facing away from the highway so it was fairly quiet. Will definitely be coming here again sometime.

COVID Sucks

Very nice and clean budget hotel. Very discounted in COVID response here. I have stayed in 12 different hotels in the area in the past month and everyone is doing it different in regards to pools and breakfast. This hotel was the mist extreme lacking even morning coffee service. If that is going to be the policy, consider in room coffee makers. In normal times , I think this would have been a pleasant stay.

AC not working

This place is just okay. For as out dated as it was house keeping really did there thing so it was clean. However our AC did not work and we told 2 different workers and all we got told was I am sorry. Our iron also did not work. Lucky we were with another couple and there rooms iron worked. But they had to use our ironing board because they didn't have one. Also a house next to parking lot is a drug house people didn't bother anyone but were pretty high just standing outside all night long. Had to watch our cars. So all in all a last minute trip we didn't have much to choose from but won't be back.

Nice two night stay!

We had a pleasant two night stay, Bed was a over-sized King with firm, comfortable mattress. Also had a large screen HD TV, couch, microwave and small fridge. Good sizable room. No continental breakfast or spa because of Covid-19. Nice enough to give us a coffee pot upon request. We were on first floor and could hear second floor foot steps, but not a big bother to us.
