Staff was good, room is semi rundown, and do NOT book the "lounge access" room, plain rip off.

Really beautiful, extremely clean, completely modernized. Lovely bathroom, soft fluffy towels, and really sweet staff, all of them-apart from the women working the SPA desk the day we checked in. Really awful attitude. I asked if they had any availability for any treatments and she was just rude. I get it they were pretty booked up but she couldn’t even be bothered to look at me to answer. She put a real damper on the whole stay.

I loved my stay at this hotel. I stayed for two nights. When I first checked in, my room was next to a service closet and the elevator. I have a tough time sleeping and thought that was something I could handle for one night, but probably not two. After thinking about it, I went down to the front desk and asked about switching to another room for the next night. Marielle was super kind and understanding, and moved me right then rather than splitting the stay between two rooms. My new room was the best, and I slept better there than I have in a long time! The hotel itself is beautiful. A mix of historic charm with modern amenities. The bartender makes a killer drink, and the pool deck and courtyard are so relaxing. The hotel attracts a good mix of people and they all seemed to enjoy the spaces of the hotel. Lots of folks in the lobby, hanging out, playing games, reading, and whatnot. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Derrick and Marielle at the front desk are top notch. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again.

The air conditioning unit in the room was broken. The hotel sent a portable fan that just circulated the warm air and had a 2-hour timer. Also, I did not realize there would be a $40 per day parking fee.
