First the positive: this hotel is in a very quiet area not far from Kristiansand. It's great if you're on a budget and looking for something as a rest point at the beginning or end of a Norway adventure. In my case, the weather had gone bad and I was waiting on the delayed Fjord Line ferry so as to return to Denmark. My room was clean and the property is pet friendly, which was a big plus for me and my dog! But...this is an older hotel that seems to be going through a slow renovation. There was only one person on duty during my two night stay, maybe the owner or a full-time manager. Regardless, he was very nice and helpful and resolved the couple of issues I had. There is no in-room heating; you may have to request a heater (at no cost) if the weather is cold. In summary, if you need basic lodging, the price is right as you will often pay more for a simple no-frills bungalow or campsite elsewhere in Norway.

We arrived late after midnight and a key had been put out to us. The room had not been cleaned so we had to call for help. We were given another room that was clean but had no towels… the room was also cold and clammy

No sheets and pillowcases no towels, doonas are stained with wee, and pillows were old and dirty. Be careful this place is cheaper than others but really not worth the savings!!!! Photos are deceiving.

Kommer ikke til å velge overnattingstedet igjen, rom var rent, minnet lit om en liten lugar på danskebåten, men det var ikke sengetøy eller håndklær å rommet, dette skulle vært bestilt på forhånd, vi fikk sengetøy, men ikke håndkle. Når man kjøre MC er det begrenset hva man har med på tur, sengetøy er ikke i bagasjen Det burde vært opplyst om på siden at håndkle og sengetøy ikke var standard og måte bestilles.

Ett eldre hus med små søte rom. Rent og pent. Litt gammelt og slitt, men har du ikkje så store krav til hvor du sover for ein natt eller 2 så er det helt supert. Ta med egne håndklær. Kommer så absolutt tilbake❤️

Rommet var som det var , helt greit til den prisen , en får et rom med seng, en liten balkong .toalett og dusj. Så ingen problemer der. Bygget var gammelt og slitt , det var ikke tv på rommet . papp tynne vegger som var et problem siden et par hadde seg en ikke så stille hyrdestund på naborommet… så for en natt helt greit . Bare ikke glem øreklokker 🙈

Rommet hadde mye synlig støv og badet/rommet hadde fuktproblemer. Inngangsdøren gikk svært tungt pga. fuktproblemer og hadde trutnet. Stikkontakter var plassert på de mest utilgjengelige stedene som under sengen og under skap. Eieren er svært hyggelig, men spurte om jeg hadde sovepose i en situasjon der sengetøy ikke er inkludert. Sengetøy burde vært en selvfølge. Badet hadde ingen håndkle. Det var mye støy fra naborommet. Jeg ville gitt terningkast 1, hadde det ikke vært for hyggelig eier.
