Your cozy getaway awaits in Ligonier at this enchanting barn suite situated on 150 acres of organic fields, yet only a 7 min. car ride/20 minute walk/bike ride (public trail on farms edge) to the buzzling historic town of Ligonier. Beauty abounds the farmland with trees, several waterways, on farm trails, and spectacular Laurel Highlands mountain views.

The comfy barn suite features 3 BR each with queen bed, dining room, living room, spacious bathroom with shower, equipped commercial kitchen with a play nook for the little ones, artwork throughout and a multi-function room. This wonderful property is perfect for a group of friends or family looking for a fantastic retreat.

Enjoy modern amenities like 55” Roku TV, Wi-Fi, AC throughout, 2 bedrooms do not have direct air conditioning vents (doors open option and fans provided), these same bedrooms have their own temperature control for heat. The suite is partially underground and is not as hot as an above ground room. Additional amenities are various types of coffee makers, electric hot pot, blender, pack 'n play, hair dryer, linens, towels, soap, shampoo.

The multi-purpose room has a 4’ x 7’ table, water-based art supplies, clothes dryer, utility sink, open shelving for your stuff, a 9 ft. clothing rack that is high enough to hang gowns and lengthy clothing.

Prompt service is available as the owners live nearby on the farm.

Ligonier offers something for everyone… specialty shopping, individually owned restaurants, weekend movie theater, antiquing, sweet shop, ice creamery, grocery store, library, YMCA, playground, weekly farmer’s market, summer concerts, various churches, health and beauty spa, walk/bike path, Linn Run & Forbes State Park w/hiking trails, fishing the trout stocked Millcreek and Loyalhanna creek, golf, Idlewild Park the oldest amusement park in the USA includes Soak Zone and Storybook Forest, art galleries, museums and of course a real live FORT!

Fox's Pizza Den is the only franchise in Ligonier. All other establishments are individually owned even the grocery store is owned by a family and not Giant Eagle corporate.

Picturesque Ligonier lives up to its description. Several movies have been filmed in Ligonier… 2025 Hershey, 2022 The Pale Blue Eye, 2015 Love the Coopers, 2014 Fox Catcher.

The second weekend of October is "Fort Days". Fort Days is a three-day event. A festival featuring historic battle reenactments, top-rated juried crafts, delicious foods, local spirits, popular musical entertainment, a grand parade Saturday morning, and a 5K walk/run. Streets are closed and traffic rerouted.

Often this weekend displays a backdrop of spectacular fall foliage too.
