The Field House was an amazing place for our group of friends to stay. We cooked a wonderful meal in the kitchen and enjoyed the indoor and outdoor portions of the house equally. Great option for those visiting the trail.
We absolutely loved staying here. Even though we came to Kentucky to tour some bourbon distilleries(which you are very close to many!), we ended up canceling one day of tours so we could relax at the house because it was so nice and the amenities were awesome. The pool table plenty of use, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the back patio is one of the most peaceful places on earth. I hope we can stay again next year!
This house was a better experience then any hotel could be! It was perfectly clean and there were small creature comforts throughout the house. The house of full of elegance. The renovation achieved a perfect balance of maintaining the history of the house while still added modern convenience.
A charming home with countless details to make a trip to Bourbon country incredibly special. A perfect location for your group to stay and really relax while in Frankfort.
This property is beautiful and the home has all the right touches to make for a great stay. The layout of the house is great for group gathering - inside and out; and we appreciated the quality of the furnishings and decor throughout the home.
Great large house with plenty of areas to gather for large groups. Wonderful outdoor patio with grill and fire pit to enjoy beautiful Kentucky sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials, extra refrigerator and nice bar area with an ice machine. Limited TV station options, so make sure you have a streaming service for live events, ballgames, etc. Ten minutes from Castle & Key, Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace. Twenty minutes to Keeneland.
Had. A good time one of the French doors would not lock back after opening it and a hook in the upstairs bathroom was missing on the door. The only negative was the twin beds not a good size for adults. But a very beautiful place

The good and the bad
Property itself was lovely and the house was amazing. However, the gate code did not work and it took 45 min to reach someone to help us get it fixed. No emergency numbers or contact info was provided for check in and had to ask for check out instructions. We did have a tripping hazzard with an indoor rug and outside the patio and one guest did fall and hurt themselves. I was told there was no grill and there was one. We really did enjoy ourselves and the house. It is well stocked and a beautiful property. One bathroom door squeaks so bad that we all thought we heard a womens screams during the night. Overall, I would go again and make sure I had contact numbers, as the lady I did get finally was very helpful and kind.
