Awesome, comfortable stay!
Myself and my 4 children (ages 17, 14, 12 & 9) stayed at the Lakeview house for a weekend trip to visit family, and we all enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The house was stocked with everything we needed, so clean, and the view is so nice. Alfred was so great in his communication, and he appreciated my singing ;-) We will definitely want to stay here again if in the area!

Very quiet and relaxing environment. Alfred checked in with us and toured the house with us to be sure we knew where everything was. Very kind man! We stayed there with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaugher and the spacious 2nd floor was almost like a separate rental. While at the house we enjoyed the peacefulness yet only a short drive to many cities and attractions. Thank you Alfred!

Very spacious place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay in this home, it is very spacious inside. The property owner was very helpful and cared about or experience. The only downside is there is the house takes up the whole property so no place for kids to play. Public lake access is a few miles away. Our family will stay here if we get back to the area.

Alfred the host was very accommodating. The house has such a beautiful view of the lake. My family fished on the lake thanks to Alfred provided fishing rods and the bait. We had all the necessary kitchen tools to have a beautiful Thanksgiving. Thank you ALFRED!

Quiet location with beautiful views
I loved being able to see out the giant windows from the upstairs bedroom, while still laying in bed. The property was quiet and the front porch was lovely for morning coffee.

The Lakeview House had wonderful views of the lake, and its owner Alfred personified hospitality. He thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The only reason this is not a total 5-star review is that the house was a bit musty = maybe just part of being close to the lake.

Wonderful home & location

Perfect get-a-way
The hardest part was leaving. Alfred was so helpful from the moment we arrived until departure. The home is beautiful and spacious enough for a large family. Also, the kitchen is well stocked if planning to cook. We can't wait to return for some fishing.

Amazing View
Came to visit the NC transportation museum to ride the polar express with my children . Made many memories and will definitely be back in the spring to catch some fish . The house is wonderful . Alfred was very helpful and kind .

Wonderful lake house felt like home
My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July and it was the best experience. Alfred, the owner, is gracious and easy going. He’s always available. We had a blast swimming in the lake, fishing off the docks and enjoying the fireworks over the lake from the deck.

Wow...curb appeal is amazing...what a great (Large) house. We were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect location for my family. Huge space, lots of towels, great deck, WiFi, parking and location. John was available to answer any question!

Very pretty lake house!
Alfred was a dear to work with. He met me there at check in to be sure all was in order and we knew the basics of the home, he also let me know he was just a phone call away should we need anything. This home is the prettiest thing on this street. Most other homes are very run down and some appear abandoned. It’s a very rural area and sometimes that is what happens. That being said, no one bothered us, I was just unprepared for the surroundings. Alfred was a gem!
