Take it easy at this unique and relaxing luxury getaway. The little cabin in the woods is a one- of -a -kind find. Craftmanship and charm in every detail. Built with reclaimed materials like the bowling alley countertops, metal roof ceilings and antique church-stained glass windows. The setting is in the country with woods, and stream with small waterfall, although easy access to major highways. The cabin has a luxury hot tub on one screened in porch with small frig and table for outdoor dining. And another screened in porch with cozy rockers for relaxing, reading a book or just taking in nature. A loft love nest bedroom with luxury queen bed, kitchen, electric fireplace, one of a kind handmade by owner firepit, beautiful bathroom with antique stain glass windows. Perfect for couples for a romantic getaway for anniversaries, newlyweds, birthdays or just a weekend away. Near Mohican State Forest, Ohio State Reformatory, Malabar Farm, Kingwood Center and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Track. All wheel Drive recommended in winter, long driveway on hill.

This little cabin in the woods was the most spectacular VRBO we have been to. Our host was amazing and there was absolutely nothing that was not already provided. We loved and hope to come back again.

This place is amazing, it’s so beautiful, and the host is amazing, it was our anniversary, and all the extras, she left really made our anniversary special. The cabin has so many extras, she really thought of everything.

Immaculate, serene getaway

The hosts have created a comfortable, quiet cabin in a wooded setting with a soothing babbling brook. We glimpsed deer, wild turkey and a chipmunk nearby. The cabin is stock full of everything needed for a restful stay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Highly recommend

The cabin is lovely and tucked into some beautiful woods. Great place for a relaxing few nights amongst the nature. Hosts are prepared for anything you may want for your stay. Would definitely go again!

Cabin is beautiful and has everything needed for our stay. Love the location, and love how secluded and yet close enough to enjoy the local restaurants. It’s our second time and still finding little things in the cabin design that was thoughtfully incorporated.

Absolutely Perfect!

This property was just as it was listed and was a perfect get-a-way. Laura and Darrell were amazing hosts, were prompt in responding to questions, had many suggestions for what to do in the area and included many extras (muffins for breakfast, cake, and even a little plant to take home). The interior of the cabin was so unique, and it was apparent that this is a place they love and have put a lot into. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to unwind an enjoy a relaxing get-a-way.

Cute little cabin in the woods

My husband and I found this little cabin in the woods for a long weekend getaway. It was just what we needed, private and serene. The cabin is beautifully designed, I especially loved the stained glass windows! My hubby loved the hot tub! Laura was a great host, we loved the little surprises she left for us.

Romantic getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cabin for Memorial Day weekend! It is a beautiful cabin and was perfect for the two of us! The owner was wonderful to communicate with and was very attentive to us. The owner did a great job of including unique touches throughout the cabin to make us feel welcome! We will definitely visit again!!

Amazing cabin and outstanding hosts!

Laura and Darrell are amazing hosts! Their cabin is beautiful. They have included so many special touches and amenities in their cabin that you will NEVER find anywhere else. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they had a neon birthday sign. A yummy birthday cake, a birthday card, bottle of wine and meat and cheese platter. The cabin has everything you could possibly want and then some! Hot tub, robes, binoculars, battery candles, lit walkways and bridge. Babbling brook, screened in porch and every kind of coffee and tea you could want. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing!

This sweet little cabin was the perfect atmosphere for my husband and I to get away! The hosts have paid such close attention to every detail to make sure it is a wonderful experience for any guest staying there! From the comfy, soft pillows, blankets and rugs, to the amazing and unique craftsmanship of the interior design, it will keep revealing inviting surprises! Fairytale Stay

My hisband and I just left from a 2 night stay at Laura's fairytale cabin. The pictures do not do this place justice. It was the perfect secluded location with all the amenities. We felt cozy and at home as soon as we pulled up. Both nights were cool and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Especially after a day of hiking and kayaking! You can tell a lot of thought was put into this cabin. She even left a yummy birthday cake, a card and cute Happy Birthday sign. Was really special! We will absolutely be booking a stay here again in the future!

Beautiful place to getaway

I had the most amazing stay. The cabin is so lovely. Everything is so beautiful. There are so many wonderful touches. The bed is the most comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. The hot tub is awesome. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. The hosts are the best! They helped me more than once during my stay :) They are so kind and left wine and cheese, snacks and if you have forgotten something, no worries they have it. Thank you for the plant! The yard and trees are incredible. I could watch the deer from the sofa. I will definitely be back for a visit. Thank you so much for everything!!

Great Weekend

I can't say enough about this property. Everything in the listing is accurate, but that doesn't really explain the property. There are so many personal touches. Shower steamers, high quality coffee, snacks, throw blankets and pillows, coffee, area recommendations, the cottage is set up and ready for a relaxing getaway weekend. The hosts provide clear and printed directions for everything. My wife and I are looking forward to our next visit.

Blown Away!!!!

I was almost brought to tears on the exceptional accommodations of this cabin. The details, craftsmanship, and attention to everything was beyond belief. My husband and I were intown for the Vintage Motorcycle Races and spent the week visiting all the tourist spots and restaurants that were conveniently located on the chalk board along with brochures. We were located within minutes of most locations and still close to larger city attractions for a day trip. The cabin is not meant for larger groups, It's perfect for 2 people looking for a quiet, cozy, romantic, serene, soul searching stay. I would highly recommend and will definetly plan our next visit around this cabin. Do not hesitate --- it's absolutely perfect !!!!

Unique one-of-a-kind cabin in the woods with lovely decor and romantic touches. Fabulous relaxing areas in two porches as well as inside. Awesome hot tub, easy to use. Extremely clean inside and out. Love the privacy and seclusion of the cabin. Great nights sleep in comfortable bed. So much thought out into the cabin to make visitors feel at home. I recommend this place!!! What a GEM!

Beautiful setting. A truly amazing build out of artisan quality as far as what Darrell did to the place. An architect and interior designers dream. And Laura’s decorating and welcoming touches were over the top. Truly a special place to stay.
