You’re sure to fall in 💗 with lake views, cozy bedding, modern decor & a well-stocked kitchen. Located in the capital on the Ky Bourbon Trail, this peaceful Lakehouse is sure to be the perfect getaway for couples, friends & families alike! Minutes to several distilleries, 10 mins to the Capitol, 30 mins to Lexington. Pets are allowed for $150 per stay (2 max).
There are only 2 dedicated parking spaces available in front of the townhouse. Please park directly in front - leaving 2 spaces to your left & 4 spaces to your right. There is additional street parking available for more than 2 cars.
We live nearby & are available if needed, but generally do not personally interact with guests.
This is a row of 4 adjoined townhomes overlooking a small lake, located in a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
This is a split-foyer townhome. The lower level features a living room with an electric fireplace, a 55” Smart TV, fully-stocked kitchen, a renovated half bath & dining area. Outside, you can relax on either of our two decks & enjoy the sounds of wildlife on the lake, cast your own line (bring your poles & kayaks!) or enjoy a cocktail after a day on the Bourbon Trail. We also provide a Weber charcoal grill, if you’re in the mood to BBQ. Guests will need to login to their own streaming services on the TVs.

Upstairs, you’ll find 2 bedrooms (one king bed & one queen), one full bathroom (shower only) & full laundry. The spacious primary bedroom features a king bed, a 42” Smart TV, desk, reading lamps (with USB chargers), dresser, luggage rack & closet. The 2nd bedroom features a queen bed, blackout curtains, reading lamps (with USB chargers), dresser, luggage rack & closet. A renovated bathroom w/ a glass-shower enclosure & a new washer & dryer complete the upstairs.

NOTE: We highly recommend travel insurance. If you need to cancel for any reason at any time, a processing fee will be deducted from your refund, regardless of the cancellation policy.

  • Kentucky State University was chartered in May 1886 as the State Normal School for Colored Persons, only the second state-supported institution of higher learning in Kentucky.[1] During the euphoria of Frankfort's 1886 centennial celebration, the city donated $1,500 towards the purchase of land for a new college on a bluff overlooking Frankfort. Excellent Stay

Exactly what we needed. Our trip was only my girlfriend, dog, and I, and specifically for the Bourbon Trail and the Lakehouse was perfect. Very clean and quiet and more than enough space for us. Also in a convenient location with a nice overlook of the lake to enjoy a coffee or stiff whiskey. Would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

We stayed overnight at the property last year while driving through. We liked it so much we decided to spend Thanksgiving there with our family. It was just as nice as we remembered and we will most definitely stay again any time we're going to be in the area.

It is clean, comfortable, has a nicely equipped kitchen, and it is otherwise like new. Definitely not "cheaped" out with beat down mattresses and furnishings from Goodwill like so many.

Quiet, clean and convenient stay

Great communication with the host and a very clean place. We didn’t realize that it was an attached house so there wasn’t much privacy on the deck, and the furniture out there was pretty beat up. However it was very quiet and a residential neighborhood near the highway.

Quiet location and easy accesss

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for our first visit to the area. Everything was as described. Clean and very quiet. Washer and dryer were a plus. Kitchen well stocked with new cooking pans. Didn’t hear the neighbors at all. Will definitely come back!

What we needed

We travelled to spend Thanksgiving with family. The location of the property was excellent, it was well furnished, well kept and the beds were excellent--that is actually a little unusual in our experience. It was also very easy to get in touch with the owner who also responded promptly. Finding a pet friendly property was what made this trip possible.
