Welcome to Bourbon Sunshine, a charming 1900s Craftsman home ideally situated near historic downtown Frankfort and the array of distilleries along the Bourbon Trail. Centrally located, this home is just 2 miles from the renowned Buffalo Trace distillery, 6 blocks from the State Capitol building, and a short drive from the famous Rebecca Ruth's candy store.

Our home is thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, offering a true home away from home experience with the warmth of mid-century Craftsman charm. The interior is tastefully designed and decorated to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We take pride in providing a 5-star experience and maintaining a clean environment, ensuring your visit to the Bourbon Trail is both memorable and comfortable.

Days before arrival a code will be sent to guest for entry.

Parking and entry to this property is from the back. Access it by side streets Ewing and a right onto Webber. This is an alley road of a quite well-lit neighborhood. Older turn of the century homes are in the area and are filled with history.

Beautiful property, very clean and well kept. Very thoughtfully appointed with everything you may need. Plenty of room for three couples with room to spare. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Great comfortable house

Stopped for a night on our way back from Nashville to enjoy some bourbon distilleries. Loved sitting on the porch, parking was easy, beds comfortable. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful place to stay!

We enjoyed our time at this location! We loved all the space that was here and the kitchen was very large and clean! The bathrooms were clean as well! All of us slept well in the very comfy beds. Highly recommend this spot if you are doing the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Quick walk to downtown area as well.

Bourbon Tour Experience

Charming and homey

The property is nicely updated but retained so much of its original character, was very clean and well stocked, just like being in your own home. The location was convenient and our group of friends really enjoyed our stay, especially our morning coffee in the cute front porch.

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving there! The house was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance of some fun restaurants downtown. The owner was lovely and even left us a delicious apple pie! Highly recommend.

Consulting Biz Set-Up at Bourbon Sunshine

Excellent property - a team of three used it to set up an elite boutique business. Very close to downtown Frankfort, 4-5 blocks from the state capitol. Four good sized bedrooms, all with queen beds, TVs, etc. Nice place. Grill.

Great space for larger group

We used this house for the Bridal party to stay and get ready at for my wedding this past weeknd. It was perfect. Lots of space for all the things happening. Also its gorgeous for pictures. Melinda was amazing to work with and evwn went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend staying here

Great Weekend in Frankfort

We had a wonderful time at Bourbon Sunshine. The house is located close to the center of town, near multiple attractions. The parking in the back was spacious enough for our two large trucks. The space in the home was big enough and then some for our family of 7.

Family reunion and Bourbon Distillery visiting

Our group consisted of 8 adults and an 8 month old! We come to Kentucky yearly to enjoy the distilleries. This home was perfect for us! It was clean, Melinda was easy to get ahold of if needed, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was complete! Bonus for us was that it is only 10 minutes to Buffalo Trace! We'll be back!

Family Trip

Our group of family met to visit a couple of distilleries. We chose this home due to the number of king size beds. It is so nice to have comfortable sleeping for so many. The large table allowed all of us to gather together. The house was so well stocked, everything you need!! It is beautiful home!

Family Bourbon Getaway

What a great house for a family trip to the Bourbon Trail! Easy check-in and very responsive and proactive host. Centrally located to downtown Frankfort and just minutes from Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Castle and Key, and Whiskey Thief. Lots of space, clean, well furnished and comfortable. PGA Championship at Valhalla

This was the perfect property for our stay for the PGA championship. The place was charming and clean with all of the necessary amenities. It was a short walk to downtown and a quick drive to Kroger, etc. we particularly enjoyed sitting on the front porch and relaxing after a long day of walking at the course. Thanks again!

Very roomy, comfortable and clean

The stay was wonderful. The property was clean, everything in working order, and the property was plenty spacious. The beds were comfortable, the rooms private and the bathrooms in clean and perfectly good working order. The entrance was a bit tricky to find on our first time there, but the property itself was just as we expected. Multiple clean towels, rags, and everything needed for the bathroom. The kitchen was clean and plenty of glasses and plates to use. Great place and extremely comfortable.
