Beautiful Cottage Just minutes from The Twin Lakes & Beach

  • Year Round Fun in this Beautiful Up North Cottage getaway that sits on a huge Corner lot with 3 nicely wooded lots for added privacy or perhaps added guest that bring their tents. Large driveway, so bring your ATV or Water toys to park them close to home or in our garage. There is a wrap around deck perfect for morning coffee, bird watching or just enjoying the fresh air. There are also 2 fire pits located on the property one small and one large fire pit for more of your guest to gather and enjoy. We have 6 adult bikes and 1 child bike for your use to enjoy the small town of Lewiston. This 2 bedroom, (1-Room with Queen Bed and the 2nd with a King bed) 1 bath cottage has an additional 3rd room located off the queen with 2 twin beds. The cottage is equipped with all the necessities of home, to include Washer & Dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Stocked Kitchen, Linens, Grill, TV in each room, Wifi, Cable, Horse Shoes, Corn Hole, bottle bash, Kan jam, and lots of board games and cards. Enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer with plenty of Hiking, Fishing and boating in the area. The Beach (East Twin Lake) is less than 4 mins from the home located off of Kneeland Street. There is also a small drop in at the end of our street used for jet skis, kayaks & canoes. Garland Gulf Resort is less than 7 minutes away, TreeTops Ski and Extreme snow Tubbing is 20 minutes away. Twin Lakes Marina is less than 3 min from the home where you can enjoy your day by renting a pontoon boat, paddle board or kayaks for the entire day at a great price. Lots of ATV, Snow mobile, and biking trails for you to explore. There is also a small town in Lewiston, here you will find a grocery store, banks, gas stations, bait, restaurants, Ice cream shops, and a couple antique shops.

Great Weekend Getaway

We came into town for a wedding at the Manor. We were about 4 miles from the Manor and within 1 mile from everything else. We enjoyed a bonfire at the house and walks around the neighborhood and down to the water. Sticks and Stones was comfortable and perfect for the occasion.

Cozy Cottage

We had an Up North wedding and the Manor at Fire Tower Hill was only 6 minutes away. (Beautiful venue by the way.). The cabin was very clean, very cozy and had everything that you would need to make your stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and we would definitely like to come back and stay when we have more time. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Perfect Girls Weekend

Our girls' weekend consisted of 6 "older" ladies who just wanted a quiet getaway weekend. The house was perfect for our group and, other than the rainy weather, we enjoyed our long weekend. We were all impressed with the organization within the house making it easy to make sure we returned dishes, etc. to their proper locations. Lovely Christmas Getaway!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in this cozy, clean, and VERY well-stocked home! It was exactly what we were looking for, and was the perfect place for our Christmas getaway! Upon rummaging through the kitchen, I quickly noticed we’d way overpacked regarding kitchen supplies! On Christmas morning, we city folk appreciated the flock of 50 or so wild turkeys that joined us with a front yard visit! And the beds are just SO comfortable! It was one of the many sad parts of our departure. We are hoping to return in the summer with the jet skis! Thanks again, Melissa!

Summer weekend getaway

We booked this trip for our family to get out of town for the weekend. It was my husband and I, our daughter and her friend (19) and my mother. The house is really close to town walking distance and the lake is just around the road as well. We rented a pontoon for the day from Twins lake marina and spend the day hanging out at a sand bar and fishing. Timber festival was going on when we were there Aug 1-4 had lots of activities for small kids and vendors for shopping. The house is just the cutest, very organized and clean. The owners have thought of everything you need for your stay and set everything up to really make you feel like it’s your home. They also responded back to message in a quickness, my family just loved this little trip and have already stated they want to go back. I see us booking a fall trip real soon. You won’t be disappointed in booking here!

Great Up-North Family Destination

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Sticks and Stones Cabin. There was enough room for our family of four. We all enjoyed the camp fires each night and all the yard space to run around with the kids. The house was very well stocked. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, linens, games, coloring books, toys, and small toiletries. I honestly don't think I have ever stayed at a more well stocked home rental. The fire pit was large and well established, there were bikes, balls and yard games to play with the kids. I personally enjoyed rolling out the hammock and reading in the sun. The corner lot is large with lots of space and I think over the 4 day weekend we saw maybe 2 cars go by. There is a very cute ice cream shop that is walking distance from the house that we all enjoyed. The beach was close and fun for the kids with a play structure. We shopped at Tee Lake Mercantile downtown which is a small boutique like store and very cute. The downtown area is defiantly walkable from the cabin but with little ones was drove.
