"My plan was to arrive at Home2 in the evening, stay the night, and check out the following morning. However, this place turned out to be far too wonderful to leave after staying for just a single day."
"Great hotel. We stay here often.
Great restaurant, Irish Eyes is a short walk down the block.
Hotel put a small bottle of Champagne in our room to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary."
"The experience was completely unacceptable from the very moment of arrival. Upon reaching the room, the first major security red flag was that the door was completely unlocked, raising immediate safety concerns before even stepping inside.
Once inside, the lack of basic housekeeping was staggering. The appliances had clearly not been wiped down or sanitized since the previous guests, making them entirely unusable. The situation under the sink was even worse, as it was stuffed with tons of leftover trash. Among this garbage was a massive, leaking mess of milk dripping everywhere, creating a highly unsanitary and foul environment right in the kitchenette area.
The mess wasn't contained to just the inside of the room, either. Right outside the door, a smashed half-gallon of milk was left soaking into the hallway carpet, which no hotel staff had bothered to clean up.
To make matters worse, the room was incredibly uncomfortable due to a malfunctioning HVAC unit. Even when forced to the highest setting, the air conditioner barely worked, failing to properly cool the room and adding physical discomfort to an already deeply frustrating and unhygienic stay."
"The house was very clean and the breeze from the bay was delightful! It is near many attractions like Cape Henlopen and Prime Hook! It was a lovely stay! "

"My friends came to celebrate my birthday at the beach. The waterfront views are incredible. The house was clean and spacious, feeling like staying at a resort. We found the extras like the martini shaker, different cocktail glasses, beach chairs were lovely to have at our fingertips. The elevator made not only loading luggage and groceries easier, but also was nice for guests who weren’t as comfortable with stairs. The town of Lewes was so cute to shop and walk through, with so many choices of restaurants open in March was a nice surprise compared to other NJ beach towns. We hope to make this a regular gathering place."
"Sara’s responses were prompt. She’s an excellent host. Very understanding, kind, an extremely nice person. The unit was exceptionally clean. However, the noise coming from other residents was frustrating! The units exhaust fans was used to ground out noise coming from the 2nd floor unit. This was reported twice to Ms. Sara. And promptly she went to the HOA. Ms. Sara did her job as an host. The HOA failed on their end. And apparently let it go! Because from that point the noise increased! All night long stomping on the floor, banging, and bumbling around. It sounded like a herd of people running up, and down the steps. Then, all the fowl talking, and arguing! This occurred all throughout the night. The kitchen was fully organized, and had everything needed at your fingertips. The restrooms were fully stocked with plenty of toilet tissue, and body wash to shower with. The towels, and bed linens fell a little short. Only 1 bed set per room. It was a wash, and use situation. There was 4 towels, and 4 was cloths. Witch was alright. Overall, the stay itself was alright. The area is very peaceful! The problems occurred due to other residents who live there. Sara herself is an excellent host, with an exceptionally clean unit. "
"The house is wonderful and well stocked. John was a really great host and was available anytime we needed anything. We had a great stay and will be back again!"

8/10 Good
"All went well after some trouble figuring out the heating. Home wasn't winterized when we arrived on a 40 deg day. It was 51 deg inside and furnace and baseboard heating weren't working. Spoke w property mgr who was making efforts for tech to come but we couldn't wait as it was freezing. Bought 4 space heaters for our use. After a lot of trouble shooting on our own, checked the main elec panel and found to our surprise that all the breakers to heating system were in off position. Got the baseboard heaters working but furnace never started. Space heaters were adequate to keep the upstairs reasonably warm. No one was ableTo come thru our stay and we made do. Nice stay overall other than the heating issue. We may have been the first winter renter and they hadn't winterized the home prior. Listing agent said our expenses will be reimbursed as well as some compensation for our lost day. Sounds legit but I'm still waiting for word from accounting, 20 days later. "
