Four bedroom townhome is close to beach and town! Unit 2A Canal Place

Welcome to this newer townhome just a few blocks to the beach in one direction and two blocks to town in the other - a perfect location! Enter on the main floor into the living area with adjacent kitchen and dining space. A large flat screened TV in the living space will be the ideal spot for a late evening movie. The second floor features a master bedroom with private bathroom and two additional bedrooms that share a hall bathroom. The top floor of the townhouse is a large room with a double/double bunk bed and a separate double sofa bed. This floor also has a half bathroom. It's an ideal setting for the young or young at heart to congregate. A large deck is also on this level. Canal Place has a small community pool. This is where the outdoor shower is located.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

This property does not accept pets, Friday to Friday rental.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

Surprised by the uncleanliness (black mold in showers and wash machine), ants in the kitchen and porches, very dusty and dirty. Location was convenient to the bike trails and walking into town and Lewes Beach. Tiny pool (8x16). Balconies on home were lovely to watch sunrise and sunset. Hanging chair on back porch was highlight to my trip. 1 parking spot, small garage (possibly compact car size). No overflow parking - neighbors were unfriendly

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is nice. Close to downtown. However, the actual address was not given to me. The address given by the realtor, Margaret was misleading. I was given the address of 2 Canal place but the real address was 100 Anglers way unit 2. The complex was called canal place. Tjere is also a canal street in lewes which was what I thought the location was. I had to stop by the office location to get the key to the rental which was inconvenient. The first floor was clean. The carpets upstairs were dirty. There were stains on the sofa bed. There was mold in the washer. The property manager was not very responsive via text. Took several days to reply to messages about the pool.

Excellent location and house

Great location, walkable to both Lewes restaurants/shops and beach. Clean, modern house. Great to have the pool as an option for our kids as a break from the beach. Excellent all around!

Close proximity to downtown Lewes

Lovely home. Easy walking distance to downtown Lewes and bay beach. Sadly the road out front is a bit noisy at times. But enjoyed our stay overall.

2A Canal place

Nice place and great location. I’d just make sure you have the pool code, definitely bring all the essentials they are very limited. No laundry soap, no dishwasher soap. I even purchased the linens, but had to make our own beds. For some of us came from out of town, state and country it made it a little bit upsetting. The place is really nice though. Clean and the furniture is nice. Beds are comfortable. Location is walkable to downtown, restaurants and the beach. I highly recommend Irish eyes pub and restaurant.
