A very pleasant stay

The hotel is located about 1 kilometer from the city center of Leuven in a quiet suburb. The room was stylishly decorated, clean and spacious. There is a bar and restaurant with a large terrace and they do offer breakfast as well. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Assolutamente positiva come esperienza, camera pulita, silenziosa, confortevole, alla reception sempre trovato persone gentili e disponibili, l'unico neo è stato il caldo di notte ma sufficiente lasciare aperta l'aerazione dei lucernari per ristabilire una temperatura accettabile.

Positive : Nice hotel in a quiet area of Leuven. Very clean and a good price/quality ratio. Negative : Not possible to obtain two rooms close to each other for our children although we booked both rooms simultaneously. No tea / coffee / bottle of water available in the room (standard)

It is a nice hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The location is also quite convenient if you're planning to visit the KUL university (which is usually my case), but it is a bit far from the center.

Great little hotel

I have stayed here many times but never left a review. It’s a great hotel and offers both rooms in main building and at the studio type apartments. Easy and free parking. More a residential area but 20mins walk to the town centre. Staff here are great and they offer bikes and even lights for nighttime. Breakfast is average for a hotel with something for everyone. Supermarket near by if you want to prepare your own in the apartments. Would stay here again.

Boardhouse + Voltaire restaurant = wonderful stay

Very nice stay in this wonderful hotel. Spacious room with a terrace. Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very kind staff. Delicious breakfast. FREE parking place next to the hotel. Voltaire restaurant worth to try. No disadvantages. Easy access to the Leuven center by bus or by train. Hotel proposes bike rental.

Das Hotel ist stylish und bietet viel Platz in den Zimmern. Das Frühstück ist auch gut, wenn auch vielleicht die Option für Cappuccino fehlt. Die Treppen sind mitunter sehr steil und es gibt keinen Lift. Das Hotel ist also nicht für Gäste mit Behinderungen oder Problemen beim Treppensteigen geeignet.

Some good, some bad

This is a mixed review and a possible caution for others. The hotel is nice, rooms large and comfortable. However, we seemed to be treated like second class which came up in a discussion with the front desk. We had 3 service issues - TV not working, I complained 3 times before it was replaced, I indicated the safe would not functioned as directed, I had to bring the topic up twice before being heard and our room was not cleaned on the second day. When I brought this topic up to the front desk - I was told that they were confused and that because we had only paid 70 Euro per night (thru Hotel.com) and there normal rate was in excess of 100 Euro that they had decided to treat us like weekly clients who get no room service. It did feel like we were being treated like second class. The big apology would be that they would clean our room tomorrow. Not much of an apology if you ask me. Top management obviously isnt communicating with the front line as to rates they are advertising rooms. The other issue is parking. They advertise free parking which is true with the following caveat. There 8-10 space parking lot is also used by their restaurant which is full every night. If you arrive back at the hotel between 6-9 pm, you will have to try and find a spot on the street which is very difficult. Beyond these issues, the hotel room was very nice. Note there is not an elevator

Huge jaccuzzi was an unexpected bonus on the top floor. Two flights up and quite a corridor but no offer of help with suitcase wasn't great, otherwise the staff were very polite and helpful. Very spacious light room; no doors to wardrobes would look messy during a longer stay though. Skylight over the bed is a head hazard first thing in the morning. Excellent breakfast in a well-designed modern conservatory. (Unsecured) free wi-fi connected automatically and was strong enough to stream movies. Very good bar restaurant next door is a real plus.

modern sauber freundlich wenn alles funktioniert

Eigentlich modern sauber freundlich, gutes WLAN, kostenloses Parken in naher Umgebung. Aber: Abends nach 22 Uhr nur eiskaltes Wasser (Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt), leider auch morgens um 8 Uhr, eiskalte Dusche.... auf meinen Hinweis an der Rezeption kam keine große Entschuldigung, nur eine Erklärung. Auch keine nette Geste, mich z.B. zum leider teuren Frühstück einzuladen, oder wenigstens einen Kaffee. Im Fernsehen kein einziges deutsches Programm ist auch nicht schön. Bin oft in Leuven, aber vielleicht nicht mehr oft hier.

Gut organisiertes, ruhiges Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Frühstück. Der Fahrradverleihservice ist eine hilfreiche Angelegenheit, da das Hotel etwas außerhalb der Leuvener Innenstadt liegt. Die Gegend um das Hotel herum ist sehr hübsch; viel Grün, nette Villen und insgesamt sehr ruhig und sicher. Wir waren im Boardhousing, einige Gehminuten vom Haupthaus entfernt gelegen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, wobei es mehr Platz für Kleidung, etc. hätte geben können. Dafür war das Bad umso größer und schöner (es gab sogar, was ja in Hotels leider selten der Fall ist, ausreichend hohen Wasserdruck in der Dusche).

Piacevole soluzione in quartiere residenziale

Arredamento moderno, caldo ed accogliente, camera spaziosa e luminosa, grande bagno. Buffet della prima colazione soddisfacente. L'albergo è privo di parcheggio proprio, si può usufruire di quello della brasserie "Voltaire" che si trova accanto. La brasserie può fungere da ristorante per gli ospiti dell'albergo. Ha qualche pretesa e un menu piuttosto ristretto, ma si mangia decentemente e l'atmosfera è gradevole. Purtroppo la mia camera era quella dietro la piccola cucina dove preparano la colazione e alle sei di mattina l'inserviente comincia a spiattellare rumorosamente...

schön, ruhige Lage

schönes Zimmer mit Balkon, Balkon war leider nicht abgetrennt und für 3 Zimmer gleichzeitig. Nachbarn waren spät sehr laut.
