Within 0.4 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.2, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for open-fire, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Town: The bustling and ever-popular cathedral town of Letterkenny is located 20 miles west of Derry City and 35 miles north of Donegal Town. As the largest and most populous town in the county, there’s always something going on here, with a whole host of historical and recreational opportunities for visitors to explore. There are two town parks, the Aura Leisure Centre and a 6-screen cinema and bowling alley within the town. Letterkenny was also the winner of Ireland's "Tidy Towns" Competition in 2015 and is the ideal location to stay when exploring Donegal as the town has many interesting monuments and buildings, both new and old, as well as a range of intriguing art galleries and museums, including the fascinating New Mills Corn & Flax Mills, featuring one the largest till-working waterwheels in the country. With an abundance of well-known retail outlets and independent shops, it’s also the perfect place for a spot of retail therapy, whilst there’s plenty of top quality music and gastro pubs and restaurants providing all a range of local and international cuisine for you sample. Letterkenny is on the The Wild Atlantic Way taking in all the beautiful panoramas of the Irish coastline, and the Glenveagh National Park and city of Derry are within driving distance. There are numerous safe Blue Flag beaches within a short drive including Rathmullen, spectacular Portsalon and Marble Hill. Golfers are also spoilt for choice with many fantastic courses within a 30 minute drive and a local course within ten minutes.
