"We had kind of a quick turnaround, wish we had more time to explore and use the amenities. The breakfast was fantastic, great view (the sunrise was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen), very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was super comfortable. A bit of a drive but well worth it."

"This house is all about the location, views of the Atlantic Ocean are fabulous and that was the main draw of the property. Sitting in the morning with cup of tea watching the birds and the waves takes some beating! Beautiful evening sunsets sat outside with family were unmatched. Property has everything you could need, well equipped if you choose to cater from the property. My only niggle was it wasn’t up to my standards of cleanliness in the bathrooms, but I am slightly obsessed! I think some other reviews have mentioned a couple of the bedrooms need updating which I agree, but wouldn’t detract from staying again. My brother joined us with his children and they were blown away too with the views and spaciousness of the property. Communication from David was excellent and check in and information sheet really useful."

"The setting is terrific and even though we weren't planning on anything too energetic we enjoyed the walks. The main downsides were a small room with a very small bathroom and appalling service in the main restaurant for dinner. It appears that the majority of restaurant staff are on work experience (obviously early in the program)"

"There was nobody there to check in.A notice was posted on the door to call someone as it turned out it was the owner who was in Dublin.No brekfast was available.The TV in the room was not functional.A lady later appeared at my door pleasant and understanding but unable to correct anything.I did not stay there I left and found accommodation elsewhere.Also there were renovations afoot not finished.The place looks nothing like it's web site.It was unbelievable to me that the proprietor or a designated manager were not there."

"An old school hotel in the middle of Connemara. This was our second time staying the Cashel House Hotel and we have enjoyed both times. The cost is a bit pricey but worth it. The rooms are large with nice sitting areas. There's a small but well-appointed bar, and the restaurant serves outstanding food. "
