Jungle Lodge Hotel

"Great location inside of Tikal. It took us two full days to see all the main sites in the park. Each day we went back multiple times, staying at the Jungle Lodge made this possible Issues- there should be a water bottle refill station. The hotel seems to be trying to make money by selling plastic bottles of water, wasteful. Loud- we stayed three nights, every night something woke us up. A screaming baby, a drunk family reunion, a lost sunrise tour group. Movie- there is a beautiful theatre room but they play the same documentary every night, and it is not even about Tikal. Why not change it up? Food- the food is great, but there are four different menus and they are weirdly strict. The bar menu is only available in the bar, pool food only at the pool, restaurant menu only in the restaurant, etc. But it all comes from the same kitchen."

"We travel the world and this is definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The hotel has twenty individual units that are large enough for a family of four. The service was impeccable. All staff were trained to know our names and after one meal became familiar with our preferences. The monkey island tour was great and the car service always on time. The spa was average but easily overlooked because of the incredible experience."

"This place is spectacular in every way. Rooms are amazing. Staff are incredible. Food is delicious. This was our final stop of a two week journey to Guatemala. It was a wonderful ending to a fantastic trip. Carlos, Michelle, and Milton, among many others made this an experience to remember. "We had the a fantastic time. This is the most amazing hidden gem in Guatemala. Whether staying at the hostel or hotel, the staff treat you as if you are the most special guest they’ve ever had. Fantastic food at the very chic and cute jungle themed hotel restaurant, which was an average of $20 per person for a very upscale meal. Rooms are a good size and cute theme, very clean sheets. The pool is a perfect temp and the pool area is so cute. Everything is on theme and very comfortable which I love. You feel like you are transported to a little jungle bungalow next to the ruins and it was one of the best parts of our trip. If you are planning on going to Tikal this is the hotel/ hostel to chose."
