"Bon accueil et bon echange avec la proprietaire. Forte odeur d'humidité dans le salon. Piece impossible à utiliser. Logement atypique avec un certain charme. "Mon compagnon et moi-même sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans la bulle. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Le menu du soir ainsi que le petit déjeuner (qui est inclu) étaient excellent et bien copieux. Nous avons pu profiter d’une nuit étoilée magique depuis le lit dans la bulle! La bulle est située au milieu d’une petite forêt réservée qu’à nous. Le lieu est très calme, paisible et situé dans une zone historique comportant de nombreux châteaux, qui bordent la route Richard Coeur de Lion. "

"This hotel is lovely. It was clean throughout, the pool was open and available, parking outside at the front was plentiful and the flower troughs along the front were beautiful. Communication with Stephane was easy and he offered to allow us access before 6pm, which we didn’t take advantage of in the end. His phone number is clearly visible on the front door if the hotel is unmanned. The food in the restaurant was top quality and the service was excellent. We would have no reservation in recommending this hotel to others."

"To find it was a bit hard , but I called the owner (she does not speak English, so better you have prepared your french ) , after all she find us , we were not far at all from location, Is very quiet area indeed , only the rooster is making noise in the morning but is very pleasant to be waking up in a classic way , worth to stay there , visit the Oradeur sur Glane , the martyr village, is very sad what happened there "

"We enjoyed our two and a half weeks in Rochechouart, despite some disappointing weather.The house, which was fairly simply furnished and a little on the dark side but well-equipped, was in a very peaceful, natural location, ideal for exploring the town and surrounding area. There are lots of good walks in the area which we enjoyed and it was also very relaxing and entertaining to sit by the river, listening to the water and watching the kingfishers, wagtails and coypu.The swimming pool was lovely. The temperature was consistently warm and was big enough to have a proper swim. It also had a reasonable sized shallow end which would be great for little ones. It was well maintained and cleaned regularly by the nice owners, who live in the neighbouring property but were not intrusive."

"As a family of 6 adults and 2 children we stayed here for just over a week in August 2025. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia - even 'STEVE' made an appearance.The only thing to note is that it is the 3rd bedroom (with double bed and bunks) that had the very low door, which makes it a bit awkward for adults,but we made it work.Overall we had a fab time and would love to return."
