"Terrible manera from the concierge who screamed at us because we forgot our key inside the room and he has to go to reception and get us the master key. He literally screamed and was extremely upset. He shouldn’t be working in hospitality if he cannot handle this type of situations. Innocent mistake that happens to guests frequently. Very disrespectful. He was angry at us and felt the need to show it with yelling and bad manners."

"We had a wonderful time with our family, with time and possibility for great skiing in Villard. In the afternoon we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the sun. The house is great, and we had a very warm welcome. Cooking a meal together every night, making a fire to roast some marshmellows, nice kitchen, and lovely fire in the living. "Juste un WE de Pentecôte en famille pour le plaisir de se retrouver dans un cadre magnifique et fêter l’anniversaire de 3 générations qui « passaient » une dizaine importante. "The hotel was not as advertised on the hotels.com website. Did not know there would be a self check-in with no idea what to do upon arrival. Fortunately, there were people coming out of the hotel and this enabled us to get into the locked lobby. Otherwise, we would have been left stranded outside with no communication or direction. The reported instructions for how to access this hotel came 90 minutes after we were already heading up to our rooms. As we stood in the lobby trying to figure out how to check in with no staff, it became very frustrating. When we reached someone on the lobby desk phone, we were then put on hold for 25 minutes. This caused more frustration. Had we known this was an unstaffed hotel, we would have chosen some other location. Fortunately, for others who were also having the same experience and didn't know how to access an unstaffed hotel, we were also coming out of the lobby, and kindly let them in so they could go through the experience we just had. You even had to make your own room key. Rooms were good, but overall, not a good experience after a day of traveling."

"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."
