"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "The hostess was enthusiastic-- a florist with a lovely garden. We had very lovely conversations within my fractured French. Excellent restaurant recommendation from her that was a short and easy walk. The local park we went through is very pleasant and a nice play to sit. There were other guests yet we had no idea until we came to breakfast. We also saw them at the same restaurant. "

Tried the phone numbers they gave, no response, had to drive on and make a different booking somewhere else. Hotel no responding to hotels.com so delaying my refund. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"

"Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back."
