"Beautifully situated flat overlooking the charming village of Albiez-Montrand and the surrounding mountains. The flat was clean and quiet. Unfortunately, the dishwasher did not work properly despite putting in rinse aid and dishwasher salt meaning that we washed the dishes by hand. It is worth noting that the washing machine is a communal one requiring a token that the owner provided in good time. However, we had difficulty in getting this to work. The vacuum cleaner also did not work properly."

"Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "Location is perfect - ski in ski out, steps to everything in the village. Our room was a littel small but then again, we booked the cheapest room in the hotel. I'm sure there are upgrades available for a little more $$. Great terrace/restaurant overlooking the mountain. Room for improvement on the bathroom size and tv with screen mirrorinng option would be nice if you don't speak french well enough to follow French tv. BUT we didnt spend much time in our room so it wasn't big deal. Would stay there again."
