The hotel itself is great - good staff and service and very clean. The down points are the area, pool/ roof top and the cost of drinks. I have stayed in some lovely hotels but it’s really an odd choice for the nobu to be in this area of such a vibrant city like Barcelona. There’s nothing close by but a large supermarket, a bus station, a few cafes and a huge building site. Every time we left the property it was an uber or 30 minute walk to the main areas of the city. The roof and pool are tiny for the size of hotel and as this was the main reason we picked the hotel, 6 beds and a few chairs was a big disappointment. I understand that drinks are always more in hotels but in a country where good wine is plentiful and cheap, €14 for a tiny glass of rose in a plastic glass is crazy and more than soho house etc. It’s worth looking at alternatives in the same price range but in better areas which is what we’ll do next time

Small boutique hotel. Excellent location, Casa Botelio across the street, walking distance to everything. Hotel offers afternoon snacks, including champagne , coffee, tea in the lounge. Bar fridge is always stocked with water, beer, snacks , all included at no cost. I love the small details that this hotel offers.

Beautifully updated hotel in a fantastic location. The rooftop bar was an highlight of our stay in the evenings. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, we could not have enjoyed our stay more! We will recommend the Lamaro to anyone going to Barcelona.

The room was ok, but i thought i book a castle view room but my room was at the corner end where i could only see the tip of the castle, what a disappointment. I thought sustainability is part of the IHG concept but my toothbrush was being disposed by the cleaner everyday and i have to open a new one each time. I have experienced 3-4 times within an hour of workers knocking on the doors asking about room service but my room has actually done, but they missed one day in between. I doubt that, these worker doesn't know if the room has been done or just trying to check in the room? I look from the peep hole and they went into everyroom next to mine and obviously there was no one in it, the room door was close when they went in and came out a few minutes later. I supposed whenever the hotel staff's cleaning the room they should keep the door open to avoid unnecessarily misunderstanding, but the few times of knocking the room just feel weird.

Loved our stay at Ohla. We really enjoyed the fantastic rooftop and also had a great dinner at the restaurant next to the lobby. Easy access to loads of shops and food. Close enough to la Rambla to feel like you’re in the middle of the action but just far away enough to not feel overwhelmed. The room was amazing as well. Comfy bed and pillows and the rainfall shower was nice and hot when needed. Would stay again!
