"Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at Gumbo Limbo! The property was amazing- better than the pictures. Well stocked kitchen and tons of towels and the pool was large. Our kids spent hours in it. The beach within walking distance was one of our favourites. Both the on site property manager, Carol, and Pam- who helped us all the way until we arrived were top notch. Would highly recommend location and amenities. We will be back to this island and will stay here again."

"Palisades was OK - and no big negatives. For improvement I would note the bed linen is not cotton and I think needs to be washed regularly for longer than 15 mins at a high temperature to eliminate bed bugs. The bedding is a major problem in the rentals market - it really needs to be cotton, cleaned thoroughly and aired. The decking around the house is not in great condition and in places is rotten/ soft. Moreover the sun goes around the back of the house so really the decking g and pool are situated in the wrong position as they do not get all day sun."

"Jethro was a very good host. The location was outstanding. It was a four minute walk through the jungle to a beautiful turquoise beach. There are more trees than the pictures show. "
