Our holiday rental is located in the Ruhbühl district of Lenzkirch, a recognised health resort known for its therapeutic climate, and in Sonneneck in the southern Black Forest. At an elevation of about 824 m on the edge of woods and meadows, the location offers plenty of peace and quiet and a natural setting. You can tailor your stay here to suit your preferences: Those seeking relaxation will find it right on the premises, while those who want to be active have numerous options in the immediate vicinity.<br><br>Surroundings and Leisure<br><br>The location on the edge of the forest makes it easy to set out right from your front door—whether for a stroll, a short walk through nature, or longer hikes and bike rides. The Southern Black Forest Nature Park offers a varied landscape with hills, valleys, gorges, and sweeping views.<br><br>Motorcyclists will enjoy the winding roads through the Black Forest, while swimmers can take advantage of the outdoor pools in Lenzkirch and Kappel, as well as nearby lakes such as Titisee, Schluchsee, and Windgfällweiher. Wellness and relaxation are also well catered for: various sauna and spa facilities, as well as the large Titisee water park, are within easy reach.<br><br>In winter, the surrounding area transforms into a winter sports destination. Cross-country ski trails are available right in Lenzkirch, and the Feldberg area—with its lifts, downhill runs, and additional cross-country trails—is just about 17 minutes away. This ensures there’s something for everyone—from a leisurely winter stroll to a day of active skiing.<br><br>The Apartment<br><br>The apartment is located on the mezzanine level of a small apartment building. A free parking space is available directly in front of the building.<br><br>At approximately 45 square metres, the apartment is compact yet functional and cosy. It is particularly well-suited for two people but can also accommodate up to four (ideally, two adults). It features a double bed and a sleeper sofa. We’ll send you detailed information on the required sizes in our welcome email.<br><br>Additional Information<br><br>The visitor’s tax includes the KONUS guest card, which serves as a ticket for buses and trains throughout the Black Forest holiday region.
