  • Our holiday flat in Chalet Nussknacker is located on the ground floor of a typical wooden chalet and offers plenty of space to feel at home on around 85 m². The village centre is a two-minute walk away and the Lenk-Simmental adventure pool is about ten minutes away. The house is in the immediate vicinity of the bus stops. From the south-facing balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Wildstrubel - ideal for unwinding.

    Lenk in the Simmental
    The village of Lenk lies at the top of the Simmental in the Bernese Oberland in the wide, flat valley floor in front of what is probably the most beautiful valley head in the Alps, the Wildstrubel. The tranquil holiday resort has around 2,300 inhabitants and can be reached by car or train. The village lies at 1,068 metres above sea level, with the highest point being the Wildstrubel at 3,244 metres above sea level. Simmental wooden chalets and alpine and mountain farming are typical of this traditional, green valley. In winter, the "Adelboden-Lenk... dänk!" ski region is popular and in spring, summer and autumn, people enjoy outdoor adventures.

    In summer, the Simmental is a valley of water with impressive waterfalls. The source of the Simme, the "Sibe Brünne" and the Iffig Falls are natural beauties. The green valley offers easy walks and challenging mountain tours. Modern mountain railways transport hikers, bikers and paragliders up the mountain. Alpine and mountain farming characterise the valley and the inhabitants are proud of their traditions and origins. This is celebrated with AlpKultur®.
