"I made a last minute trip to visit family for spring break and found the great deal for Coral Cottage. We couldn’t have been happier with the home. Personal messages and a basket for our family and small pup. Snacks and pup treats included. The house was immaculate. The golf cart was such a great add on and the bicycles and games made it so much fun for the kids! We drove the golf cart to Dearborn Street every day. An amazing experience all around. Hoping Coral Cottage is available every time we come back to Englewood!"

"Not a lot of curb appeal, but a great place to stay if you’re looking for just the basics and a place to sleep after being out all day. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen have been recently updated. Plenty of towels. Host provided basic shampoo, conditioner, and soaps in every bathroom, which is a big plus for a quick trip. Conveniently located (15 minute drive to just about anything.)Decorating is minimal—bedrooms have only beds and side tables but no dressers. Kitchen is not equipped for a large amount of cooking. Water heater needs updating, as my family of five had to stagger showers just to have hot water for basic, quick showers. And this house definitely does NOT sleep eleven, unless several people’s sleep on floors. The upstairs “futons” were just pillows on the floor, but both the second and third bedrooms had twin trundle beds under the queens.“Game room” has a pool table/air hockey/ ping pong combo that my kids really appreciated. Other than a checkers/chess set and a game of monopoly, that’s all that was there.I would not recommend this for a long stay, a big group, or anyone looking to spend lots of time hanging out at home. But if you need a comfortable, basic place to stay while you are out all day, this could be a good fit for you."

"The beach was awesome, secluded, which is hard to find similar anywhere else. If cooking meals, the stove burners need to be upgraded (more level) to be safe. I set the fire alarm off (no smoke - just heat) while cooking a breakfast using the oven and stove top; it went off again with showering, no vent in bathroom so had to leave the door open. Minor stuff. "

"Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood, surrounded by live oak trees. Very tranquil and very quiet. Only a few minutes from everything. Kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked! That was great. The host left a snack basket and some beverages for me also. Overall, I loved this house and would go back again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In fact, we wish we had stayed longer rather than traveling to a different location after only three nights! We had a little setback with the pool on arrival, and the owner was quick to respond and we were swimming the next morning!The house is immaculate, and well appointed, and the neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. The shops and restaurants on Dearborn are charming and fun, and only a short walk away. The beaches are only a short drive. If back in the area I would definitely stay here again!"

"The Pelican cottage at Manasota Beach Club was a little slice of heaven. A quaint little cottage from a simpler time, this was exactly what was needed for a calm, relaxing trip. Check-in couldn’t have been easier, as simple as reading an email. The cottage was clean and comfortable, exactly as listed and described. The two most important questions - was the bed comfortable and how was the water pressure? From someone who doesn’t sleep well in a strange bed, this bed was a dream. Slept through the night our entire trip. And the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Strong enough to feel soothing without stripping skin. There were several other people at the resort but it felt like we were alone in this little haven. The only sound was the wind and the waves. The beach is semi-private to the best of my knowledge and we had a huge piece to ourselves. We are already talking about the next opportunity to visit and are looking forward to returning to Manasota Key and the Manasota Beach Club. "
