"Great hotel in a great city "

"We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderfully charming and quiet guesthouse set in a breath-taking landscape that made us feel like were residents of the village! The breakfast is simple, but tasty, and you pick it up and bring it to your room. I especially enjoyed the kitchenette, which made it possible to do some hand laundry. "We just came from a wonderfull stay at this paradise. The service was at it finest, and the location to. We were so lucky, that the staff (Susanna) upgraded our room to a supirior, because there were one free. The room was so beautifull - the combination of wood, stone and “farm” style has sat an impression of us. You really need to experience this place. Both the location, but very much the service indeed. Incredible breakfeast, haven’t got anyting near this standard for the money before....

"We liked the atmosphere of the old house. The grounds were beautiful. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. She doesn’t speak English, but between a little Spanish on our part and sign language, it was a wonderful experience. We learned a little Portuguese! Would stay again if ever in the area."
