"Fine hotel close to the old city center. Easy to park in the parking house next to hotel. Friendly staff. Good running and walking routes close to the river. Noise from the street so difficult with open windows. "

Reception and restaurant was shut down for most of the weekend except for breakfast. Main doors don’t work so you have to walk around to the back door of the hotel after you climb the main stairs to read their small note to search for another door, reception and restaurant was closed all Sunday afternoon and evening. "Excellent hotel! The location is ideal for the main historic and cultural sights of Braunschweig, and is even walkable from the railway station (if you don’t mind a 35+ minute walk). Plenty of shopping and dining options in area, including a terrific bookstore just across the street. My room was large and airy, extremely quiet. Front desk folks were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Loved staying here, will come back for sure!"
