Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

10/10 Excellent

"Super location if you have an early flight from Schiphol- especially in bad weather since you never have to go outside to get to airline counter. No worrying about airport buses or cabs early in the morning. Added advantage: if you arrive at airport by train, you can walk indoors right to the hotel. The food is quite expensive - as is the hotel itself- but you could opt to walk into the terminal and grab an easy dinner from the Albert Hein supermarket inside the terminal. Can get cold beer there too! The breakfast buffet is fine-but also expensive, so grabbing something for breakfast at the supermarket also makes sense. Helps to get the price of the room into a more reasonable range. I have stayed here several times and the convenience can not be beat."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was abundant with many selections. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was a little hard but still comfortable. Pool are was a bit of a mess but the pool was wonderful."

"Nice hotel close to the airport and the city! The staff are quite nice and the breakfast is amazing! The restaurant was not very good for dinner - low quality food and overpriced, but not terrible. The pool is quite small and in a hot and humid basement, and there is an extra cost to use the sauna. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped."

"Started off a little rocky because I was not given the room I paid for. I went back to the front desk to inquire about the change and I was questioned about how many people I had with me. I paid for the room with three beds and a view overlooking the canal. I was given a room with one bed and a view overlooking the intersection of the road in front of the hotel. I was told that I was given the room I reserved and that it was only 2 people. One traveler couldn’t make it therefore it was only 2 of us. He said I can show you what you reserved, I politely replied I am well aware of what I reserved. After a little back and forth I was given the room I paid for. The view was amazing and I did get the balloons and candy I paid for to celebrate my birthday. Other than that the stay was great not excellent because of the service. We didn’t use housekeeping for 2 of the days and when we requested it they came but nothing was done they didn’t even change the sheets nor pillow cases. WiFi was good and the breakfast was great."
