Excellent view to observe Mt. mAYON.

What we can excep an excellent facility service for what we pay 12-15us dollars per night. It is not a 5star hotel but excellent lodge to stay for long period a the rate is the most reasonable hotel in all LEGZPi area.

Family Vacay

The ambience is really amazing. I love the place! But I was quite not satisfied with the customer service. The staff don't give an approachable vibes.Also, you can hear the noise from the other rooms. It's quite annoying especially if the guests are so noisy. They offer food but it's so expensive and you can't opt for a delivery since they will charge you a hundred peso corkage fee. It is also far from the shops (laundry, convenience store etc.) But all in all, I enjoyed the place because of the wonderful view.

Voor het hostel is een tribal village na gemaakt. Huisjes zijn simpel en er is alleen koud water. Bed is relatief klein voor 2 personen. Er mist een klamboe en een laken om onder te slapen zou fijn zijn ipv alleen een "fleece"deken. Het is niet zoals vele luxe hotels, maar lijkt veel op de huizen waar filipijnen zelf in wonen (dus niet super comfortabel). Eigenaar wilt je dit mee laten krijgen. Uiterlijk huisjes is mooi, perfect uitzicht op de vulkaan, mayon. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ook de atv tour is leuk om te doen. Eten prima, zwembad is goed. In de avond wordt er een vuur gemaakt. Is ver van het centrum, maar er zijn genoeg tricycles die je kunnen brengen.

The area is nice serving as core for going around Bicol region. Hotel is very basic and small which is ok but CR is on ground level it’s a challenge having to climb up and down steep steps

Cockroaches everywhere in our room so didn’t stay.

Looks beautiful in the day, and staff we helpful when we were there, but we had an awful issue with cockroaches in our room. Can’t count how many we killed. Asked to move room but none were available until the next night. Thought we would just deal with it but when we returned there were cockroaches in our bed. 10pm, in my pyjamas, all my luggage on a scooter, driving around Legazpi to find an alternative place to stay. Returned the keys the next day. They were apologetic, but it is not their policy to refund (suggesting this happens often!). Annoyed at this as unless we wanted to sleep in a cockroachy bed then our only option was to move hotels at our expense. Not good enough.

Good place to stay

Authentic Filipino place, full of character, good for a budget travellers. Easy check in and out, friendly staff, got a reasonable priced restaurant on site. A Tip: rent an ATV and go to the volcano, unforgettable experience. Overall,we were happy to stay there, highly recommended if you looking for cheap and authentic place.

The best view of Mt. Mayon

We were so tired that day kaya sarap Ng tulog namu In. Although I wish the toilet is in same level Ng bedroom.i think this place is best for young ages. The view of Mt mayon saved my stay with them. If only for that YBH accommodation was all worth it.

The tribal village feels is good. Location was also ok. Food on the restaurant was amazing, specially the buttered chicken! :) However, reservation of rooms was an issue. They do not maintain a list of which rooms is reserved for which guest. I hope this gets fixed.

Avoid! Unreliable, your booking means nothing!

We booked 3 rooms to stay in this place and pre paid months in advance, yet we showed up at around 9pm the day we we're meant to check in (check is from 2pm onwards) just to be told that they were fully booked and they can't take us despite us having already booked and paid. the people who were working there said we should have been there at 2pm to get our rooms if we wanted to be able to check in, otherwise they might not have any rooms left, so obviously online booking means nothing to them! we we're also told this happens to a lot of people and they just usually refund the money. So this place obviously take online bookings and take peoples money but if you aren't there at the start of the day they will happily give away the rooms you booked and paid for to other people! they kept insisting we just take a refund. but we didnt want a refund, we needed a place to stay, after negotiating for ages and convincing them they need to sort us out they finally tried to arrange somewhere else for us to stay, we eventually got sorted somewhere else for the evening. Nightmare! avoid this place

The staff is very accommodating (especially Paula), but the place is horrible. There were cockroaches and ants that my child was awake the whole night scratching. The bathroom was horrendous, very smelly and dirty (with cockroaches) and no hot water. The outside was nice, very tribal and looks magical at night. You also have a fantastic sight of the Mayon volcano from the garden. It's just not a very pleasant stay because of poor quality amenities. Stay at your own risks!

Terrible communication and customer service.

At least a month before my arrival I messaged staff connected to the premises alerting them I would be arriving in the evening, which they informed me would not be a problem. I also requested transportation from the airport to the 'Your Brother's House Tribal Village', which they said would be fine after we had agreed a price for transportation. When arrived at the airport I waited for the transportation that we had agreed on, but nobody turned up. So took a taxi which was not a major problem as the premises are quite close to the airport. On arrival at the premises I was told they were fully booked and had no available places for me or my family. This was in spite of the fact that I had booked accommodation for my stay at the 'Your Brother's House Tribal Village' many weeks before my arrival. I showed the people who seemed to run the 'Tribal Village' my Expedia receipt and proof of booking, but they again told me it was fully booked up. Only when I insisted on a place to stay because of my booking did they try to do anything about it. One of the staff went from accommodation to accommodation asking people if they would be able to check out or move to shared accommodation with other friends or family. I was finally able to find a place to sleep one hour after my arrival. I'm not sure if the staff on the premises were responsible for bookings online, but it's very shambolic for a business to accept bookings on Expedia and then allow those rooms to be taken by others.

Majestic Mayon

Nice, safe, clean and enjoyable environment and very friendly staff. Mayon Volcano is always in your sight. Easy access to city if you are happy with the tricycles. They also provide shuttle service. They are capable of organizing variety of activities in and around Legazpi City, of course ultimate aim being the summit. One can stay there for two-three weeks without getting bored. Thanks to very kind, friendly and hard working team.

Accommodation - 8/10. The kubos can still be improved like displaying a mirror inside the room instead outside. Staff - 1000/10. Volcanic village

Amazing primitive huts with reasonable comfort facing Mayon volcano. Very interesting landscaping with interesting wetland and meadow features incorporated into territory. Very friendly and hard working staff. All in all it is a real paradize, which can be easily lost due to insufficient management oversight and staff training. Adults and kids really enjoyed the stay.
