Quiet and peaceful yet walk to Charming Downtown MT. Dora

This unique property is at the end of E. 5th Ave in a quiet neighborhood with a conservation area on one side and Lake in the back. It is in a quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to Mt. Dora with all of its quaint shops, restaurants and activities. There is always something going on in Mt. Dora and you can get a complete list of activities by googling Mt. Dora on the internet. The property is .8 miles to Downtown Donnelly Park
The Uptown Nature Retreat is accessed on the left side of the house next to the Conservation area with lots of butterflies and birds. As you walk into the house you are in the living room with dining area and access to the screened in back porch. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of counter space and a counter seating area for dining. The livIng room has a large screen TV with a DVD, Netflix and Amazon Prime. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, full bath and a sitting area with TV. A second bedroom has twin beds and it’s own full bath with shower and separate door to the outside.
The large back porch overlooks a huge fenced in yard overlooking Lake Franklin and is a great place to relax in the morning with a cup of tea or coffee or have a cocktail in the afternoon. The house is shaded by large oak trees that keep the house cool and comfy. A washer and dryer is also available for your use.
Lake Franklin is a private lake and a Great Lake to fish or canoe or kayak in. I don’t have kayaks at this time but feel free to bring your own.
We love pets that are well behaved and house trained and charge 25$ per pet per stay.

We all had a wonderful stay. The place was comfy,clean and an easy walk to downtown. The host was so pleasant and very nice to talk to. If we’re ever thinking of going to Mount Dora again, we would consider this a place to stay.

Great location. Close to downtown Mt Dora. Property was cute, clean and well maintained. The host was quick to respond to all messages and left a very detailed message about check in procedures and things to do in area. Very pleasant experience.

Quiet retreat

Easy to find, good location to downtown Mt. Dora. Extremely comfortable bed! Lovely screened porch to enjoy watching all the birds. Would definitely stay here again is I returned to the area.

GREAT LOCATION!!

Loved the location of this property. Literally a 2 minute walk to 3 different restaurants and not far from downtown. Home was super clean. Check in/check out was super easy and smooth and communication with host was excellent.

Perfect fit

Perfect for us. Location was great. Everything was very clean. Host was friendly and nice. Enjoyed the birds who were enjoying the bird feeders. Spacious accommodations. Here is a list of the things I didn't like: Okay, nothing to add to the list!

Excellent Stay

First of all, Jaime is an awesome host. This is our second time staying here. It is located in a quiet area. The place is always so clean and welcoming. We had a very relaxing time. We really liked sitting at the dining room table while eating breakfast and watching the many different birds.

Relaxing getaway

The property is in a nice and quiet location. The place itself is very nice. The beds are so comfortable!! We loved the backyard. If we had a question, Jaimee would respond very quickly. We would most definitely stay here again when we return to Mt. Dora.

Quiet, convenient and lovely

This well equipped 2 bedroom ground floor apartment included a lovely screened back patio opening onto a garden full of bird feeders and beautifully maintained. We were walking distance to a vibrant downtown area, with historic buildings, interesting shops, many wonderful restaurants and a lovely lake shore park. We had a wonderful time in Mt Dors

Sisters get together

We spent most of our time in the back porch enjoying the birds and butterflies! Such a relaxing backyard. Took the taxi out to dinner which was great cause we didn’t have to find a place to park. Shopping and the food in Mt Dora was great. Would definitely come back again.

In for a wedding

Backyard was peaceful/free taxi was fun

Loved all the birds in the morning and early evening with all the bird feeders. Porch is so comfy and peaceful. Taxi into town was fun. Very clean, bed comfy. Only complaint wish there was a small TV in the other bedroom. Jamiee was very responsive.

My Dora Gem

This sweet little property met our families needs to a tee. Lovely walk to dinner and a nice walk into Mt Dora proper. The washer came in supper useful for a kids regatta and another kids soccer tournament.

Great location to downtown

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and in working order. This property is more of a duplex, than a single family home. The owner was not at home during our stay so privacy was not an issue. We loved the nature garden. It's on a quiet street next to a preserve.

Amazing stay

This house is fabulous! So clean, updated, and very spacious. We can’t say enough good things about this property. The outdoor area is top tier. We loved all the plants and butterflies. A short walk to downtown or even shorter drive. The walk was nice to see the neighborhood. We wished our stay had been longer. 5 stars!

Lovely cottage

This is a well-appointed, very clean bungalow. The grounds are charming and very native and eco-friendly. The owner was quick to respond to the two questions we had. The screen-in porch provided a lovely spot to sit as well as did the sitting area in the back yard. This location was a quick hop to downtown. All in all, a lovely getaway.

Charming Mt Dora Home.

This sweet little yellow house is surrounded by native flowers and plants. Not to mention the bird feeders. This touched my heart I also love birds. The home itself is lovely the pictures don’t do it justice. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the host are wonderful.
