"Our stay at The Lodge was wonderful. We loved the nice, comfortable room, large bathroom, and the pool area was a nice respite on a cool, rainy & windy day. The staff was wonderful as was the very large breakfast. It was a treat for sure!"

"Had a superb three night stay at the Westport Coast hotel in October. The location is simply superb, on the quay, looking out over a few boats and the bay beyond. Worth specifying a room at the front, just for the view. Accommodation is also excellent, in my view faultless. The restaurant is on the top floor with a conservatory on one side giving views towards Croagh Patrick: we caught a stunning sunset and three atmospheric mornings. Food is great. The staff are sometimes a bit too efficient, but no complaints there. It's a 30 minute walk through the grounds of Westport House into the town itself, or 20 minutes along the road. There's a car park behind the hotel but I preferred the overflow which is huge and only two minutes walk from the front door. Check in was easy. The spa is great but was suffering from some technical difficulties when we were there. Treatments were excellent. A superlative modern hotel in a beautiful vintage location. "
