The room was ok and the staff were friendly, the problem was it was not the property we booked - we wanted to stay in a palazzo - and we were in a building down the street which was definitely not a palazzo with no explanation as to why.

Decent stay in Lecce

Room was ok, looks cute but felt and smelled very humid which was quite annoying. Maybe the other Rooms are better. Host was nice and very helpful. Breakfast was taken at a nearby cafe and includes a pastry, coffee and juice. Pretty good location

Palazzo Gorgoni is a stable, run down. The owners have done nothing to restore the place to a level to accommodate guests. The furnishings are less than thrifty store quality, linens are cheap quality, worn out. Towels are stiff, gray looking from poor laundry. The place is dusty. The bathroom is disgusting and unhealthy. The shower is unsanitary. We have been doing a road trip through Europe and stayed so far in 20 hotels/B&B in 4 different countries. Every place has been wonderful until we arrived to Palazzo Gorgoni. We checked in late in the afternoon, therefore had no choice but sleep one night there. We left the following morning without showering. Could not get out of this place fast enough! This property is absolutely deceiving as it is currently advertised. One additional problem, we travel with insulin injections that need to be refrigerated, we asked for a refrigerator, since there was none in the room. Marta answered in the most callous way; No, there is no refrigerator in the room. Not even a concern for how can we help or accommodate this important need.

Ett rum med historia

Vi bodde en natt i sviten. Fantastiskt rum. Vackert inrett. Riktigt bra läge. Fanns en parkering 5 minuter bort som Giovanna tipsade om, 15 E per dygn. Är du känslig för lukter kan det vara svårt att bo här då det är fukt i väggarna som skapar en unken lukt i rummet. Störde inte oss nämnvärt, då det är något man endast tänker på när man kommer in i rummet. Giovanna var trevlig och skickade även tips på restauranger och caféer att besöka.

Giovanna was great at communicating & super flexible re arrival times. The B&B is perfectly situated for exploring Lecce - it's so central & what a gem of a City. So much to see & explore. We arrived by train & the B&B is an interesting 15-20 minute walk from the train station. The room is full of character & a good size & perfectly well appointed but it was quite dark & dank & a little musty. Possibly not aided by the fact we were there during a rainy couple of days.

Buona sistemazione

Palazzo antico con i pro e i contro di queste tipologie di alloggi. Camera comunque molto confortevole, abbastanza pulita. Check-in ottimo, unica pecca ma comprensibilissima è il parcheggio che deve essere effettuato fuori dal centro storico. Il rate del pearcheggio è comunque bassissimo.

Immobile bellissimo! La maniglia dell’entrata bisognerebbe essere aggiustata. È stato tutto stupendo, ma il fatto dei parcheggi è un handicap. Mancano le possibilità di parcheggio in generale nelle grandi città. Cmq, da rifare tutto!

Al B&B Palazzo Gorgoni ci hanno trattato come dei principi! Per un disguido (a nostro favore) hanno dovuto collocarci nella Suite Superior e, che dire, magnifica! Una camera in stile Royal con un letto oversize e bagno spaziale. La Signora Marta è stata gentilissima. Anche senza il disguido avrei scritto le stesse cose😉 Consigliatissimo

B&B in ottima posizione per visitare il centro storico di Lecce. Camera ampia, pulita, forse un po’ di illuminazione in più non guasterebbe. Poco agevole il transito in auto per il carico e scarico dei bagagli. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile.

Ho avuto invece della camera deluxe la suite per un problema di prenotazione risolto quindi brillantememnte anche se l'ultmo giorno prenotato ho dovuto cambiare sistemazione. La suite è molto bella , l'unica pecca è un pò l'areazione insuffciente: essendo la suite al piano terra con affaccio nel cortile del palazzo c'è un leggero odore di muffa/umido. Comunque piacevolissima vacanza, tutto molto ben curato.

Mixed feelings about this beautiful property

This is a stunning building with a gorgeous shower and very centrally located. The furniture was so pretty but one of the couches smelled strongly of urine and was unsuitable to sit on. The two other PVC seats didn't take kindly to being sat upon either. We are a normal weight family. Beds were great. Really comfortable. The breakfast was hand delivered by someone who really didn't look happy to be there. The croissants tasted of fish on one morning. The nutella stopped coming after the first 2 mornings. The doors into our room was very flimsy and felt unsafe.
