It was an amazing place to stay especially around Christmas. It was beautifully decorated inside and outside. It had character and at the same time relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and meal prep. Because of the weather we were not able to take in all the outside amenities that were provided. We will certainly stay again and recommend to all our friends.

Kyle is the exemplary host! Communication was excellent and even accommodated an early check in. It was a beautiful site pulling up to the home with the festive decorations. The inside was even more beautiful!The rooms were so cozy, comfortable and spacious. And the kitchen… Wow … it had everything we needed for our sister cookie making. Had a fun time with some friends at this property. The backyard area is setup nicely to spend hours outside together. The house itself was also super clean and host was quick to answer any messages. Would recommend to anyone especially if you’re making a trip to Hershey during your stay.

Retreat from the lax fields

The Red Door Retreat is a special property, with so much attention paid to the details of the decor, the amenities and the experience. We came into the area for a lacrosse tournament and truly appreciated the retreat away from the fields, and a space that allowed our entire family to enjoy our weekend away.

We had an amazing experience at the Red Door Retreat. Everything was wonderful! The house was decorated beautifully, and the amenities were excellent! The popcorn machine, fine machine, smore’s kit, gas fire place, Infinity table, arcade game on second floor, IPad with all of the owner’s recommendations and instructions was so great!! We loved the backyard games too. Such a pretty oasis. The charging stations at the bedsides was convenient, the laundry amenities and no shortage of hygiene products (soap, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, dish soap, and dishwasher pods was so helpful to us. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

Ultimate Family Fun Retreat: Arcade Games, Jacuzzi, and More!

Absolutely delightful stay at this charming house! From the arcade games to the jacuzzi, this place had it all. The added bonus of the electronic game board and a complementary s'more kit made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was seamless, ensuring a stress-free experience. Although we made the rounds to Hershey and Lancaster, the kids were completely entertained and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend for a fun-filled getaway without ever having to step out!

Marvelous property

My hubby, triplets and 2 pups had the best time staying in this incredible home! The decor was so fun and inviting! We loved the hot tub, fire pit, relaxing fenced in back yard and electronic game table. We also enjoyed simply strolling the area looking at the beautiful homes. So much to do inside the home, outside the home and in the surrounding area! We didn’t want to leave. ❤️

My husband and I booked this for a little getaway for our one year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The house is so adorable and has so many fun aspects about it! It is decorated so cute for the fall season, it felt so homey to us! We especially loved the backyard, the hot tub and fire pit were great and we loved the complimentary s’mores kit that was provided! The house is about 30 minutes to the Hersheypark area and the drive is pretty easy to get there. The location of the house is great, it’s a very quiet and nice neighborhood, and the off street parking is directly in front of the house and easily accessible! I definitely would recommend this house to couples and smaller families!Kyle is an excellent host! He was available when we had a couple of questions about the house and even made himself available when we couldn’t get the fire pit working! We appreciated him stopping by to take a look at the fire pit and he got it up and working in no time so that we were able to enjoy it for the rest of our stay! We can’t wait to book this house again for future trips to Hershey!

Unique, charming, clean and comfortable home. It was well stocked and you can tell a lot of thought and heart was put into everything in the home. Lots of fun games and amenities (indoor and outdoor) for the family. My kids especially loved the hot tub, Foosball table, pacman and Infinity table. Location was great for us to visit to Hersheypark, Chocolate World, Indian Echo Caverns and even was less than 2 hours to take a day trip to Baltimore's National Aquarium. Kyle was great and very responsive and the couple minor issues we encountered, he took care of immediately. We had a great trip, my kids and I didnt want to leave! We would definitely stay again.

Right On!

My stay was with my daughter and her two friends, and their parents. Everything was right on! The house description, the amenities, the cleanliness, the instructions, the communication and the location. It was a very hot weekend and the A.C. units had the house chilled for our arrival. The foosball table was great, but the girls really enjoyed the Infinity game table. S’mores by the fire was a lot of fun for them. We’ll certainly be back next year!!

A Sweet Stay to End the Summer

When we first started talking about going to Hershey Park, I saw Kyle's property and thought it looked super cute with a lot of little "extras". When we arrived our expectations were exceeded. Kyle has truly thought of everything the hot tub, the record player, the popcorn machine and the infinity table just to name a few. On our first night I was afraid the kids wouldn't want to leave to go to the park:) We all had a wonderful time, there was plenty of room for the five of us and the house was a quiet respite after long days in Hershey Park riding all the roller coasters! The location also worked well for our day trip to Amish Country. The house was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. Kyle was always available before, during and after our trip to answer any questions. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area and looking forward to coming back soon!

Solid times

I had a bachelor party here. The backyard is the draw and the real treat. Hot tub worked well, but nobody ended up in the pool. Firepit worked well, and hanging lights were nice. The curtains by the small nook by the backdoor let me avoid the sun and read. Good A/C coverage and plenty of fun things scattered throughout the house to have a giggle. I would say a lot of the things may skew younger, but my group of 30 year-olds found plenty to be entertained with during the downtime. The big weakness is the 1.5 bathrooms. With 5 men, it felt saturated. We managed to spread our showers out, but just be wary if you are putting two people per bed. The only other thing I'd say is the front entrance steps are very steep, with my clumsiness making me stumble sometimes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I believe the rest of my party did so.
