"We were so happy with this listing. The owners really went above and beyond to think of all the little details one might need when away from home. All rooms and kitchen were fully equipped. The place was very clean and tidy and the owners were very communicative. We didnt bring pets but we even noticed a basket of bowls and bedding for the furry guests. The place was great!"

"I am appalled that Hotels.com would have this horrible place on their site! I would like a refund as I could not even sleep in the room! The bed was really hard and made clucking noise whenever I moved on it. I had to hang two towels over the front window curtains to block out the light as there were only sheer curtains on the windows. The lock was only a simple door knob lock and as a strange man was grilling his supper right outside my door in front of his door, I was worried the door would now be enough to stop anyone from breaking in! There was not even a bar of soap to wash my hands! I booked this as I believe most people do by looking at the pictures. They showed a pretty pond and nice outside areas, none of this was there! The property was extremely run down and did not seem safe. I will never use hotels.com and unless reimbursed, will tell everyone I know, that they have bad hotels on their site and do not care about their customers! Lynda Yankovich "

"Never had breakfast in the restaurant. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Salmon dinner was cooked to my perfection. Waitress needs training and should help customers instead of staying on her phone. Sadly, my husband and I were the only ones in the restruant and she left us sitting, never once checked on us. I had to get up and walk over to the bar where she remained to get our ketchup. I had to ask her for silver wear for my husbands food. I had to ask her to remove the first set of dinner plates that sat in front of us the entire time empty. My husband joined up with me about 10 minutes later and we shared my plate of food. After wards he ordered his own. And, the waitress just left those empty dinner plates just sitting there in front of us. She really needs proper training, and if she has had proper training thats worst. She just don't care about serving customers and is in the wrong work field."

"Great Little get away , Susan and Frank were great to us. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. Nothing negative to say about this place. The drive to the beach lake sand area wasn't far, and it was amazing. We're coming back in the summer to get first dibs on the lake.
