We enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect for walking to Mount Gretnas adorable businesses. Definitely check out the mini golf; its a very unique course! The off street parking was great, and the size of the house was perfect. I could have sat on the deck people watching all day.
Just a note, and maybe we couldnt find it, but there was no AC upstairs. Fans were left in the room for use, but it was over 90 when we were there, which made it a bit uncomfortable for sleeping. This is expected in older houses
but just in case someone else finds themselves there when the forecast is unbearable.
I will also say I was a bit disappointed by the cleanliness. I spent the first night removing cobwebs from the bedrooms. The upstairs shower had mold growing on the curtain, and was noticably unscrubbed. The fridge also had obviously not been wiped down from the previous tennant, as there was residue left on the shelves.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat, I just hope next time it will be cleaner.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Nice little shaded spot
Everything was great except for the occasional…every 15-20…skunk smell…must be one living under the porch….no big deal to me or my family…but someone might have an encounter and get sprayed….
If you stay in the summer be aware, No AC unit upstairs
This house could be great. The lack of an AC unit upstairs made nights pretty rough as we don't enjoy sweating while we sleep. Even with windows open and fans blowing full blast, nights were very rough. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable. When you come home from a day of playing at parks and you just want to relax and watch TV, this furniture is basically like sitting on a bench.
We had an invasion of ants that we battled for 2 days that would come out of nowhere and crawl on you while sitting in the living room.
Having to bring our own sheets, pillow cases and towels is ridiculous. We found that tidbit of info hidden in the details after I paid and I thought, ok, we will just bring sheets, digging further I found it was towels too. I've stayed at many rentals and never have I ever had to bring my own linens or pay to use theirs.
We liked the location ok, but if asked to recommend a place, this would definitely not be it. I hate this, I have never in all my years of renting have I written a negative review. We didn't complain we toughed it out. If you like comfort, find a different place to stay.
