My husband and I, plus our two goldendoodles, found Roaring Creek Cabin a delightful summertime retreat. When not hiking the Forest Service trails just outside the door, or wading with the dogs along the beautiful Wenatchee River and Lake nearby, we were very content to read and draw/paint on the deck and take in the breath-taking views of the North Cascades. Almost every morning I saw or heard a goshawk in the trees, and the night sky was filled with bright constellations and meteors. The modern kitchen was supplied with all the essentials, the hand-crafted dining table and chairs were lovely, and the sofa was cozy for conversations when our friend joined us. Although we didn't use the TV, it was nice to know it was an option for entertainment. (Weirdly, it did turn itself on in the middle of our first night, which was a bit freaky!) Beds were extremely comfy. It was fun to have Pondo, the owner's dog, visit and join our "pack" for a friendly romp on the deck. The only thing missing was the sound of a roaring creek!
Amazing place, so private and quiet (except for the coyotes we heard one night which we loved!). The proximity to Stevens Pass is awesome, a short and easy drive, but we truly enjoyed just hanging out at the cabin and enjoying the amazing hot tub. The cleanest hot tub we’ve ever experienced , and the best view! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Roaring Creek Cabin.
Location of this cabin was great. Easy to drive to. The overall cabin was clean. We had 10 members in our party, and room for them all to sleep.
Hot-tub/spa was clean and nice to use.
The kitchen amenities would be better if there were more plates. (only 6 available)
We also ran out of paper towels...an over stock would have been nice.
Misquotes were abundant in the evenings and early mornings out on the deck . . . bring repellent. None available at the cabin.
WiFi was not as described (Name and password) in the initial paperwork or binder at the cabin. We were able to get it to work after sleuthing out the connection box matching it to the name that came out on devices.
All in all it was a good stay...the above details are small things that would only make it that much better.
I was first hesitant with it just being myself and 2 children, but WOW, this place is a must! It was absolutely perfect, with the seclusion and peace that we needed. The hot tub was an amazing bonus during the nights, and the beds were perfectly comfortable. We even got a visit from Pondo the huskey, who was so sweet and made our last night even more perfect. We will definitely be coming back, this place is the oasis away from our busy lives.
We needed to take our older dogs out of town for the 4th and this property was perfect. So quiet and relaxing. Thank you very much for your hospitality. ~R. Gray
we had the best time staying here! wonderful cabin nestled away in beautiful scenery, it was the perfect space for cooking/communing/relaxing. the hot tub was probably our favorite feature. the hosts also did a fantastic job communicating any info needed for the stay. we were sad to go at the end of our time! thank you for running such a good place, we hope to be back!
My husband and I took our pup for a short, midweek stay and wish we had booked a longer trip! The cabin is lovely - updated with great features including a Sonos sound system that we really enjoyed. The hot tub was a nice treat to start and end the days with! And there's some really nice, easy walking with gorgeous fall colors just outside the doorstep. Would be perfect for a family getaway with kids and pets!
Our small friend group had a good time at the property, definitely loved the location & view. The resident ranger pup Pondo was always a welcome treat when he would visit & was a great bonus to the atmosphere. While we did unfortunately have a couple set backs out of the control of our hosts they were very accommodating & communicative throughout our stay. If staying in summer, definitely recommend some outdoor bug defense as the mosquito presence was strong, but tis the way of the woods. Overall we would recommend booking with the Stay Cascadia team.
Great winter stay in a nice little house in the mountains
Great vacation home in between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass. We played in the snow, went sledding (in the driveway and at the Wenatchee), XC skied at the nordic center, and spent a bunch of family time playing games in front of the fireplace. Due to the weather, we were only able to stay for two nights but would definitely stay again later.
Very private. Great views. Comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen with all the cooking implements you would want. Hot tub is killer. Our dogs enjoyed the snow. We'll be back. Thanks!
Location,. location, location!!! Loved the openness of the cabin.
Beds were comfortable. Could use a a few more dinner plates and silverware knives and maybe a platter. Just a small complaint, the top of the refrigerator of really dirty ( my daughter cleaned it) and the vents in the bottom of the microwave need to be changed or cleaned and the dining room ceiling lights should also be cleaned. Still we loved staying at the cabin. Thank you. We all had a wonderful Christmas Vacation and would highly recommend!
Beautiful Relaxing Stay in the Mountains Near Leavenworth
A beautiful home. We went when it was snowing and it was beautiful to enjoy the hot tub while you are surrounded by snow. We wrapped up our stay by checking out and then driving to Leavenworth. Took approximately 2 hours from Seattle, so will definitely want to check this out again ASAP.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
overall a fun stay
The check in process was a bit disappointing as we were never given a door code as stated in the email but once I reached out via email and phone I was able to get it. My family pulled up to such a beautiful house. The area was super quiet, exactly what we wanted.
The down side is that the house had some finishes that were not complete. ie, the molding around the house was not placed, walls that we being painted was not completed, the smoke detectors were not connected and the wires were exposed. Those weren't really a deal breaker but the fact that we were renting at a premium rate, you'd think that at least the paint would be fished...
We had originally booked a cruse to Alaska but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. The cabin was a great location for the five of us to spend time together outside the city. There was plenty of space, a well appointed kitchen and easy to light gas grill on the deck. The only cooking item that we couldn't find was a small or medium size sauce pan. There were steel wine tumblers and beer glasses but if you are a wine connoisseur you might want to bring your own wine glasses.
The first night we were bothered by yellow jackets but we purchased a couple of traps in Leavenworth the next day and didn't have any problems the rest of the week.
There are lots of day hikes available in the area and Lake Wenatchee State park is a short drive away. The cabin has central air conditioning which was welcomed after returning from our adventures.
The cabin was a perfect setting for cooking meals together and playing board games. Sitting in the hot tub and star gazing was an added bonus. Overall we would recommend this property for a great summertime getaway.
Two of my friends and I rented this lovely property and enjoyed every moment of it! You are close enough to downtown Leavenworth but completely in the woods away from it all. We had a blissful stay disconnecting and already planning our next stay. Thank you, again!
My husband & I (+ our dog), stayed here for a couple nights to celebrate my birthday. The cabin was beautiful & even better than what I expected. This space would be so fun with a group since it’s so spacious. The views are incredible & the loft area upstairs is so cute. We had no complaints. :)
The cabin is big and the views really are cool. Jon is an excellent host and we had a wonderful stay!
Pay attention to the description of the road in, it really does require the right vehicle/tires. If you like to use a variety of good knives or pans when cooking, might one to bring some along.
