This is a great property. It is nice and large in a very peaceful setting. Everything was clean and up to date. The check-in/check-out process was easy-peasy. If you are unfamiliar with Leavenworth, Susan has provided information on several things to see and do in the area. Plus there are games provided for this inclement weather days. My wife and I will definitely be back the next time we do our weekend outing.

This was such a cute and well maintained property. The view was stunning and it was very close to downtown. The host was very nice and was so accommodating when we needed things. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and private

Great place! Host was friendly and helpful. It was very cold in evenings. The beds were comfortable and there were enough beds for 2 couples and 3 teens. We’d stay again for a weekend getaway.

Fantastic VRBO

Had a very great experience at this VRBO stay. Really close to the Leavenworth center of town. Accommodations were very clean and well kept. Had no issues at all with our stay. Would book again.

Great Stay

We only stayed one night but we enjoyed our time there. The apartment was small but very clean, and we liked how spacious the living areas were. The kitchen was well stocked, and despite there not being an oven we were able to make a delicious Italian dinner using the hot plate.

Best Christmas ever! This spot had an amazing view, a great hostess, and the cutest dogs ever! The location was just a short drive from all the tourist spots, which made it nice for planning our stay. The host was great at communicating and the place was nice and clean! Would recommend

Holiday Getaway 2023

We loved every minute of it. The location is amazing and the property was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We enjoyed playing in the snow right outside the property doors. We also enjoyed the property pups. Morning walks in the country and breakfast from the Blackstone grill were the perfect start to our day. We will be back!

Modern small basement unit in the country

We had a great time relaxing with friends at the location, surprisingly close to town. Great AC and comfortable furniture and nice amenities. Nice view of the countryside. Some cons were the dogs roaming around that peed on our cars multiple times (!) and pooped right in front of the patio, and the lack of an oven and dishwasher despite the listing describing a kitchen and not a kitchenette.

The great and the bad

I really want to give this property a 5-star rating. But, I can’t. The views are incredible and the property is beautiful. NOTE: IF YOU ARE SCARED OF DOGS, GO ELSEWHERE. We were greeted by the owner’s MULTIPLE dogs. It was difficult to get into the property because we thought we’d run them over. One of them even nipped a couple of us. The view from the patio where the fire pit is located is amazing. The patio also includes a large flat-top iron grill and a BBQ grill, a wood-burning fire pit and a propane fire pit. The inside is very nice. Two big bedrooms with queen beds and a queen couch bed. Only one bathroom tho, a bummer for 8 people. We had a great time by the fire pit and playing games at a large dining table. The hot tub felt nice but it’s actually on the upper level where the owners live. To get to it, you have to walk up a gravel driveway and across the upper deck, in full view of the owner’s living room with large windows, or you have to walk up a fairly steep gravel path that isn’t illuminated. And you can’t turn on patio lights from outside the owner’s level. So it’s sketchy after dark. It’s easy to hear the footsteps of the owners on the upper level. One of the bedrooms had water coming up in the plank seams from a water leak somewhere. And both of the ottomans have obviously been peed on by a dog or dogs. Maybe the same dogs that woke us up both mornings, barking around 6:50am. And a neighbor also has a rooster… The owners were very nice people tho.
