Awesome 3 Bedroom River Front Retreat right on the water!

Relax with family or friends at this beautiful home. This beautiful home offers all of the amenities you come to expect when traveling. Located on the Mississippi River, every location in this home provides a beautiful view! Whether you own a boat, utilize the private dock or simply sit by the water, you are bound to enjoy all that this home has to offer. The dock is usually in the water between May and November depending on the water levels.

The space

This home has an open floor concept and allows you to enjoy the outdoors easily with two points of access to the bar area and/or patio. The adorable pantry offers a full coffee bar with all the fixins!!

Guest access

When you check in, you will enter through the door closest to the driveway which has a combination lock. The code will be provided to you prior to check-in. This code will be used throughout your stay. The code will be changed after checkout for the next guests.
Other things to note
A water softener and a reverse osmosis filtered water system was installed to ensure the drinking water is pure and eliminates the need for guests to buy bottled water. The soft water is great for the shower as well. The automatic ice maker in the refrigerator also utilizes filtered water and provides plenty of ice for your stay.

The house is in the perfect location on the river and is very beautiful done and very clean. The beds are extremley comfortable and nice to snuggle in! We could sit in the master bedroom and watch the river out the enormous windows forever as it was hypnotic. The host are very responsive and helpful and we can't wait to come back when it is warmer so we can enjoy the BBQ grill and outside deck!

The bathroom had a smell that we could not get rid of and we kept the door shut!Would be nice to tell guests that a train goes by in middle of night.They were doing construction so the getting to town and back was confusing til we talked to a local person.Thanks!

The perfect get away!

My wife and I enjoyed getting away four- five times a year! This property is the cleanest that we have encountered in our many getaways! I woke up the first morning to a beautiful sunrise shining over the Mississippi which, is about 15 feet from the window! We rarely stay in the same place twice however, we would consider a return visit

The house was well stocked even with snacks! Plenty of room for six adults. The view of the river is amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the patio and enclosed porch. A nice boat dock is included. Communication was great! We felt very welcomed from the time we booked until after check out. A beautiful home which we would rent again.

Peaceful time with a view of the river

This property is great! Clean! Wonderful host. There is a train track close, but it's on the river and I grew up with tracks in my back yard. Felt secluded, but we were never more than 20 min away from any attraction or restaurant. We're already talking about booking again!

Great place to stay! Great for families.

We stayed at the property so we could visit family for Christmas. It was our first time renting a VRBO and we absolutely loved it. The home was very welcoming, clean and homey. We have 4 children and the space was perfect for them. They loved the bags set on the indoor porch and darts in the indoor bar area. Owners provided everything we needed during our stay. We are already looking forward to staying here again in the summer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area!

We picked the absolute best place to stay in Iowa for scouting for Bald Eagles. It was centrally located to all the places I wanted to go. The house is beautiful and spotless. All of the back of the house has views of the Mississippi river, which was stunning. The water was frozen over, but you could see ducks here and there and a couple of eagles as well. It was just beautiful. The house had plenty of room felt very spacious and had little sitting area to look out over the Mississippi river, which I loved. There’s also a bar room, which would be really awesome in the summer. It has a dartboard and a bar area and a seating area and a TV with a door that opens up to the patio where there’s a fire pit. I can’t say enough good things about this place if you book it, you won’t be disappointed. I hope to stay here again possibly in the summer and definitely next eagle season. Thank you so much. Also, there was a coffee nook where they provided snacks, which was a bonus. Most places don’t do that. The kitchen was great with a very nice gas stove and nice big refrigerator. It really had everything you could possibly need.
Nice comfortable couch to watch tv and relax.
Kitchen had a bat that we ate at- very well done.

Another view of living room- the French doors in back open up to like an all season room with windows overlooking the Mississippi. In the summertime, these doors also open to the outside patio.

Spectacular River View

The house is warm and welcoming as soon as you open the door and, WOW what a view. The house is spacious and quiet even being on the main road. The kitchen is well stocked, and has high end appliances, (nice washer and dryer in a closet I would call every woman's dream) The bathroom offers a nice bathtub and shower, (with an abundance of plush bath towels) and the beds are cozy and comfortable. The house is well located to local activities such as sport complex, casino, and beautiful downtown LeClaire. We enjoyed a meal at The Crane and Pelican Cafe which is unique dining experience and a Moscow Muleat the Distillery. The coffee nook is darling with coffee, tea and snacks which the host graciously provided for guests use. Clint and Michelle responded promptly to all messages prior to and during my stay. My only regret is that we stayed in January, so we did not get to enjoy the bar area or the outside patio and water. Looks like I'll be staying again so we can enjoy those awesome amenities. Thank you so much for opening your home for all to enjoy.
