"Charming hotel in a very good location. The room (old section) was beautiful, with a view of the courtyard and fountain. The walls were thick and good windows prevented noise from the courtyard. Hallway noise was not an issue, due to the bedroom being through an additional door. Comfortable beds, with quality linens. Staff were welcoming and helpful. "After arriving by train we walked up the barren narrow street to a 15 ft medieval door. We pulled a small lever and within a minute someone opened it. We stepped into a literal Oasis. The temperature dropped instantly by about 5 degrees. We were greeted by Dorian…. Who proceeded to welcome us with a drink and tell us about our beautiful home for the next 3 days. "We made this reservation on Hotels.com for two rooms. Upon arrival there was a desk clerk who was rather abrupt with us and told us she did not have the reservation. I explained we booked through Hotels.com and she didn't care and said there was nothing she could do and she stopped assisting us. The other front desk associate, Victoria, was very nice and was trying to help us locate another property. I called Hotels.com and they called the front desk. Apparently it was Hotels.com's fault and...

"Just a one night stay, but a lovely room. We were upgraded which was appreciated. Swimming pool was very clean & a nice temperature. Drinks with the host & other guests was a fun experience. Breakfast in the courtyard was excellent. We will return, thank you "
