Check in was so easy. Owners were great and very quick with communication. Cabin itself was not the most modern however, The location and property made it one of the best stays we ever had.
Absolutely beautiful property in KY. Stayed the night during our bourbon tours. Owners very responsive to all messages and gave us great food recommendations. Loved waking up to the chicken’s and goats.
Despite a very poor weather event coinciding with our visit the stay at the Chrisman Cabin was an enjoyable time. Very relaxing, storms aside, and fun to explore the local area.
I was so in love with this little cabin/cottage. The property is gorgeous and all the animals are a fantastic bonus! After we arrived i immediately regretted only booking 1 night.
The CUTEST little cabin! Iwas in town for an event at Kentucky Horse Park and it was hard to leave this place each morning! Large comfortable bed, nicely appointed with a mini fridge, microwave, & toaster oven. Cabin was bright with lots of windows & views for days! Host was EXTREMELY responsive and Welcoming. HIGHLY recommend!
We had such a great time here, the cottage is so cozy and quiet. We loved using the pavilion to play with the kids and eating outside. The kids also loved seeing all the animals on the farm. I highly recommend it and we will be booking again in the future! Thank you!
Cabin was very quaint and cozy. You stay on a working cattle farm. Host are great folks. Couldn't ask for a more peaceful and senic location. Very short drive to all your local shopping. Cabin is in the heart of the bourbon trail.
Favorite all time vacation stay. Did not want to leave. Idyllic farm life cabin. You can feed the goats, cows, donkeys, and the barn cats and chickens greet you and demand treats. You have so much space to walk about or hang out. No roosters so quiet peaceful sleep. Cute decor and great amenities. Definitely add this stop to your road trip!
This beautiful cabin is in the heart of rolling hills! It was spotlessly cleaned and smelled so fresh! Beautiful outside areas including fireplace and outdoor furniture and games! Short drive to distilleries and wineries! Kim and Ryan were so gracious! Will make this a yearly retreat! A big plus- cats, goats, cows and Otis the donkey!!!
We were traveling to see my son in Raleigh NC and the cabin is about halfway. We have two pups and it is miserable for them to stay in a motel with people coming and going all night. This place is perfect with room for them to roam and quiet surroundings at night. The cabin is very clean and the farm surroundings are a real refresher from the trials of the trail. Highly recommend!!
We were on our way to my son's in Cary NC coming from Missouri. We had our two pups sheo didn't want to stay in a hotel and have no place for them to walk except on a busy city street. The farm was perfect with plenty of room and a chance for all of us to relax and recharge our batteries. The only drawback is we had to leave so early the next morning we didn't get a chance to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee. We are stopping on our way back we liked it so much!
The overall property, on a farm was well maintained! Farm animals friendly and clearly well cared for! The cabin we stayed in was well appointed, the cabin was spotless, well maintained, comfortable. It felt all comfy, warm and fuzzy when you were inside! The outside deck (with furniture) was nice to sit with morning coffee and enjoy the beautiful view, listen to the birds and breathe the fresh air!. The large outdoor covered area with a fireplace, chairs, tables, games was fun! The overall feeling of this place is peace and quiet, naturally, a joy to experience, we are grateful ! We WILL stay here again the next time we are visiting KY-Thank you !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin. beautiful surroundings and it was the perfect stay to break up our drive to Nashville. The only downside is that many of the restaurants we wanted to visit were closed on Mondays. But we are pretty flexible travelers and found a restaurant that worked with our schedule. Heaven's to Betsy sandwich shop was a great suggestion by our host and we stopped there on our way out the next morning and walked around the town surrounding. Our favorite parts included sitting on the swing as the sun set with a nice cup of coffee as there was a Keurig and Kcups provided (thank you so much for having a decaf option!!!!). The visiting cat was the purrrfect touch as we chatted on the swing and what a surprise to see him waiting at the door in the morning. This is a real gem and we plan on returning. Thank you!
Cute and fun family farm. The cabin had all the needs you could think of. Kim and Ryan are great host and are super welcoming! Fully functional farm with animals all around. The welcome committee is “Smokey” the barn cat (Bandit wasn’t available this trip, healing from a Vet visit). We came to Kentucky with our 2 Boston Terriers to visit multiple distilleries in the area and this cabin was central to all that. Great to wake up and have a cup of coffee while looking over the beautiful property. The caboose would be fun to stay in, which is also on the property. 10/10 recommend for others to stay. Would be fun to rent out the cabin and caboose with the family and enjoy the property together. They have a nice area to entertain with large tables and games. Also, really enjoyed feeding Otis the Donkey carrots and apples. If you just want a relaxing getaway, this is your place!
We had an amazing stay at Ryan’s and Kim’s cabin in Kentucky! The place is peaceful, cozy, and has that perfect “Kentucky getaway” feel. The wildlife and farm animals made the trip even more special — we spotted deer right off the porch, watched cows and goats roaming the property, and absolutely fell in love with the sweetest donkey you’ll ever meet.If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with charm, comfort, and a little bit of country magic, this cabin is the spot. Highly recommend!
