Nice concept but pretty disgusting, dirty rooms
The location is decent, quite central, nice area, staff were OK, but the rooms are so dirty it’s beyond belief.

The Hotel was conveniently placed and although the rooms were small (that's expected and part of the style), they were comfortable, clean, and cool with a ceiling fan. Would definitely stay here again. Nice bar on the roof.

Quirky,modern hotel
Enjoyable stay. Good quality/price. Rooms not very big but nicely equipped. Central location, easy to get to from train station. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Weather was very hot —no air conditioning but a fan was provided.

Quirky but pleasant hotel close to the Lausanne Flon neighborhood and very easy to get to from the train station. Room was small but very comfortable, stocked with all the necessary amenities. Personnel friendly and helpful. Hotel has a young, hip vibe.

Very easy check in process. Was able to check in a few hours early-did need to pay additional charge for this. Received a free drink in the lounge/bar. Very clean and fun atmosphere. Close to the metro. Great location to restaurants and pubs.

Fun, positive atmosphere here! The rooms are small but enough for 2 people. The showers have 2 large shower heads which are amazing after walking all day! They have a/c but we requested a fan which made us more comfortable. Pay the 16 francs for breakfast downstairs. It is well worth it! Delicious coffee, soup and sandwiches too. Sit inside or out and people watch. Location next to bus stop/metro and train. Next door is a co-op-bought coffee to go, sandwiches and other goodies to carry in our backpack for the day. Their rooftop bar is FABULOUS! You have an amazing view of the city. They give you a free drink card good for upstairs, downstairs or at MAD niteclub. Located in the middle of everything! Lots of shopping, restaurants, nitelife all walkable. Lots of walking up and down the streets-stairs, elevators, escalators. Got a good workout! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is trendy and located in an amazing area to explore. It’s one stop on the metro from the train station. I had large ski bags and it was a seamless arrival from the station. They give you free transport, free water and juice in the room. A booklet about the hotel and city. A free drink on arrival and great food at a good price. Next time I go to ski in the alps in staying there again but next time for more than a day and night

Loved it!
Absolutely loved my stay! Very centrally located, staff were all so lovely, the room was fantastic and the little touches in the room (free water, juice, coffee, a gift etc) were wonderful! Plus the art work was amazing. Would definitely stay there again if back in Lausanne. Highly recommend this place!!

Plus: the welcoming is really great with gifts, a drink and access to the club. The room is really fancy and comfortable. The hotel is really well situated. One possible negative point: the aeration can be a little bit noisy for some people when sleeping but one of the gifts is ear-plugs.

Lausanne - City of Dreams
Remarkably well appointed and also cheap (by Swiss standards) hotel. Approximately two orders of magnitude better than any Ibis hotel I've stayed in before. The place is brand new and its clearly working to a budget - think CitizenM but more plywood and smaller rooms - however you couldn't ask for a nicer team The rooftop bar is a nice touch (in summer at any rate) and the downstairs bar isn't a bad place to be. Like most Swizz hotels you'll get a pass for the local metro which is handy. There's a steep hill between you and the railway station so the slightly less able might want to take a bus. Lausanne obviously isn't known for its nightlife - the local area has been done up and has a selection of restaurants and bars suitable for people who like a quiet night out before going to bed early - that said it's pleasant enough for a day or two.
