"The room was spacious and delightful. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. It was a very quiet hotel. For an older person or for a partially sighted person, it would be helpful to have more light in the corridors which were very dark."

"The hotel is obviously very old but the rooms could be updated a bit. Furnishings were tired. Outside cushions were left out overnight and the time we were there they were constantly wet so we couldn’t sit on them.
