Wonderful family vacation home, all the amenities, host were very nice and the surrounding area was just beautiful and tranquil. A bit of a drive to sights, but totally worth it!

Fall asleep to cowbells!

Beautiful working farm perched on a hill. The owners are very kind and generous, as are their two friendly dogs. Beds are very comfortable, and the space is clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Be sure to walk up the hill for a beautiful view of the Alps!

Perfect & relaxing vacations in Nature!

We just visited home Switzerland and stayed with Barbara and her Family in their Farmhouse in Emmental (Emmenmatt near Lauperswil). The location is perfect for a daytrip to Bern, Burgdorf but also to Interlaken, Thun and Swiss Alps. We had the groundfloor of the Farmhouse for our own (Ferienwohnung), and Barbara and family live on the 2nd floor. The Apartment comes with everything needed: Great Kitchen with Dishwasher, Coffee machine, Microwave, Oven….You can also buy from Barbara many farm-food products: eggs, milk, cheese, meat and so much more: Our favorites the diverse homemade Swiss Cheeses, Butterzopf and Cordon-Bleu. One of our highlights was every evening enjoying the Jacuzzi with views down into the Valley and Swiss Mountains. Barbara is an amazing host, her English is perfect and she is a super nice person. Also the 2 farm-dogs and cat we will miss a lot, but we will be back next time traveling back to Switzerland! Truely recommend to stay here!

Barbara was an excellent host. Her communication was clear and she and her family are very friendly. The house can be tricky to get to, but the view and quietness of the place is outstanding. It was a perfect place for our family to begin our trip after flying into Zurich and wanting to explore Bern.

Relaxing and beautiful view

This is a great place for a whole family. We enjoyed the beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere. The place was super clean and the manager even made us homemade bread, which was delicious. You can buy homemade cheese and jam from the farm. The manager was accommodating and very nice. One of the most memorable experience from visiting Switzerland was staying in this farmhouse!

Hele mooie omgeving! Het huisje was schoon, netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bedden lagen heerlijk! Eigenaren zijn super aardig. Leuk om zo in de bergen tussen de dieren te zitten. Honden waren leuk om mee te spelen. Was een fijne vakantie!

Wir haben ein wundervolles Weekend zu dritt verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist gross, sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin ist grossartig und zuvorkommend. Die Jaccusi auf der Terasse hat unseren Aufenthalt im verschneiten Emmental abgerundet.
