  • Kennedy is an inner city 200m2 grand Victorian Terrace set in the centre of the events quarter of Launceston CBD.

    Upstairs has the master King size bedroom with balcony, separate toilet, award winning bathroom with dual basins, shower and claw foot bath, and the double bedroom.

    A grand staircase connects to the downstairs level with a spacious King bedroom, lounge room, dining room, kitchen and laundry with second toilet.

    New kitchen with stone benchtops, dishwasher and modern appliances including Nespresso machine with pods and tea selection this sits in between the generous sized dining table or the back yard with the BBQ and outdoor setting.

    60" Samsung LCD TV with Netflix and free high-speed (250mpbs) Wi-fi included.

    We also pride ourselves on having properties with good water pressure for nice hot showers and plush new bedding on high-grade pillow top mattresses.

    Off-street parking is metres from the back door in the secure yard through remote control roll-a-door access.

    This residence is council approved as short-term accommodation for full peace of mind.

    It's across the road from City Park and the monkey enclosure (rated in Australia's Top 10 Parks), across from the Albert Hall and on the same block as Saturday's Harvest Market - again a previous award winner of Australia's best farmers market. The City shopping is just 1.5 blocks away, Boags brewery 1.5 blocks away and the University of Tasmania Stadium (previously Aurora Stadium) just 800m away.

We had the most beautiful stay at this townhouse. We were impressed with all the facilities, coffee machine and induction hot plates as well as the finishing touches on everything. It is so much better in person than the photos, we were blown away. Would 100% recommend this townhouse and we would also love to visit again next time we are in Launceston. Thanks so much again for everything!

We highly recommend staying here, the accommodation was incredible! It was so clean and had all the supplies and amenities you could ask for. The hosts even supplied fresh bread, milk, and butter for our stay. We hope to stay here again, next time we are in Launceston.

Extremely convenient location within walking distance of all the trendy cafes and restaurants.The property itself is extremely well equipped and really comfortable. The hosts have catered for everyone, you’ll find entertainment for adults, books for kids.We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book it again when we are in Launceston next.

If I could rate this property six stars I would. It was perfect. We stayed for 9 nights and we couldn't fault it - really! Quality throughout, including nice touches - Sukin products, along with fresh bread and local butter, and most importantly comfortable beds. It looked and felt clean - and we are pretty particular. Rick was easy to communicate with and flexible. If you're thinking about booking this one - go for it!

Rick never fails to impress with the presentation of “Kennedy”. Just a pleasure to use this home as a base for our long weekend activities. From the fresh bread, home made muesli & yoghurt available on arrival to the wonderful old world charm of the home “Kennedy” is a must!

Wow, what an amazing place to stay. We had such a great stay here as a family of four (two adults and two kids). From the moment we arrived, it felt incredibly welcoming and homely.The space was clean and there was so much room for all of us to relax comfortably. The location was perfect, straight across from city park and close by to town, making it easy to get around on foot and enjoy everything nearby.We very much enjoyed the little extra touches —fresh sourdough bread, coffee pods and a selection of spreads waiting for us on arrival. It was such a lovely gesture.The hosts were great—very quick on replies for any communication, accommodating and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for their guests.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable, clean and all round beautiful place to stay.

Victorian Terrace central to the CBD

Ideal property for a family or a couple stay in Launceston The property has been renovated to a high standard yet keeping the terrace house feel As it only has one bathroom with separate WC located on the first floor its not ideal for several couples to stay The dining room & kitchen are yet to be renovated but we both had a good stay

We had a lovely stay in Launceston at this property. The townhouse was stylish and comfortable and close to all Launceston had to offer. We also appreciated the fresh bread, butter and yogurts provided by the host - we would definitely stay again!

A great house for 4 adults - plenty of space and just like the pictures indicated. Good heating provided for those chilly Launceston nights & very comfortable beds. Perfect location for walking around Launceston CBD.

Girls weekend away

Very central and clean comfortable and well presented property. Generous extras and quality furnishings. The house had rustic, old world charm and the location close to parks, cafes and a wonderful Harvest market. Highly recommended.
