The Space:

This home comfortably accommodates up to six guests. A 15-minute walk will see you in Launceston where you can explore the city's historic charm, cafes, and attractions or a short stroll down into the popular Newstead shopping area.



Behind its charming soft-pink front door, Carinya reveals a bright and beautifully presented interior, creating an inviting retreat from the moment you arrive. The manicured gardens add to the home’s character and give it a warm sense of arrival. Accommodation comprises three bedrooms, the main bedroom offering a King Bed, Walk-in Robe and a modern ensuite with walk in shower, the 2nd and 3rd have Queen beds. A dedicated study nook positioned off the lounge provides a handy space for reading, planning your day or attending to work while away, but also perfect the anyone needing a great spot to locate themselves for a work stay. The main bathroom offers a deep bathtub which is perfect for a long soak at the end of a busy day. The spacious home also offers large double-glazed windows that fill the open-plan living and dining area with natural light, while soft furnishings and neutral tones create an easy-going space to gather. Stretch out on the sofas, enjoy a meal together or draw the block-out blinds and settle into a cosy evening at home.



The contemporary kitchen has been designed with both style and practicality in mind. Quality appliances, generous bench space and a butler’s pantry provide everything needed for your morning coffee or a meal shared around the table. Outside, the fully fenced backyard provides plenty of room to enjoy the Tasmanian sunshine, dine outdoors or simply spend time together. A modern laundry with washing machine and dryer adds further convenience for longer stays or travelling families.

The Neighborhood:

Newstead is a beautiful Launceston suburb, renowned for its quiet leafy streets, heritage homes and impressive Cafe scene. Just around the corner, you’ll find some independent food store, kitchen and Cafe - Alps and Amici, Maple Cafe and Relish Cafe just to name a few. You also have the convenience of a Coles supermarket and Chemist only a few hundred metres away. The CBD is within easy walking distance, as is Launceston General Hospital, making the location particularly convenient for both leisure and work stays. A little further afield, you can discover some of Launceston’s well-known attractions, including Penny Royal and Cataract Gorge.



Getting Around:

You'll find free off-street parking in the carport of the property around the corner in Ramsay Street, as well as ample free street parking, making it easy to explore the city by car. For those preferring public transport, the nearest bus stop is a short walk away, providing convenient access to the Launceston CBD and surrounding areas. Travel times are quick and easy. You can reach the Launceston Airport (LST) in approximately 15 minutes by car, while the city centre is an easy 10-15-minute walk. Taxis and Ubers are also readily available to use.

Guests are supplied with an abundance of amenities including fresh Ashgrove milk on arrival. Guests who book for more than 4 nights will receive a complimentary bottle of locally sourced Highclare Estate Wine. Guests will be offered to purchase a grazing board filled with local produce prepared and supplied fresh on your arrival.
