The Avi has a great area for kids at the pool. The cafe and coffee shop were reasonable. The smell of cigarettes is absolutely insane. The smell reaches all the way to the rooms. Open some doors or invest in a better air filtration.

Found a few bugs in our room and even killed a few and showed it to the from desk. The staff showed no care. Bathroom towels were dirty and tub was dirty. We had requested a non smoking room and it smelled like smoke.

There was a lot of stuff around the hotel a mile or two away but easy to get to. The hotel smelled like cigarettes all over & the fire alarm went off twice the first night there. The arcade had a lot of malfunction games. But they have an option for babysitting it’s $12 hr per kid 😂

Nice property overall. Service at Feathers Cafe was abysmal. We walked out after 15 minutes with no one speaking to us. Server took a drink order for someone who just sat down while we waited for 15 minutes. Disappointing.

We have stayed at this property before, and were pleased with the upkeep of the rooms. The room we had on this overnight stay was not as up dated. In running water into the tub it was coming out with a brownish hue- maybe rust in the pipes? Decided against a bath. The rest of the hotel and pool area are nice and we enjoyed our short stay.

First, I want to say that Billy is amazing. We checked in later in the evening & he was not only positive & full of energy, but he was funny as well. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday & he wanted to enjoy the river! Since check out was the next day at 11am - we requested a late check out but unfortunately that wasn’t possible. So Billy suggested booking another night to enjoy the facilities. Sunday that’s exactly what we did. We went to the front desk & confirmed that if we booked another night - we would be able to enjoy the day fully. Now here is why I didn’t give 5 stars. Please reTRAIN Elaine & Mandy. When I asked Elaine if we could keep our keys & if they could just attach the new reservation to our same room number, she said “No you’ll have to get new keys” & we were going to go to the beach for the day. So I asked is there anyway to connect the two reservations & she said “No, you would have to come back” & rolled her eyes at me. This is your front desk? They need to have a better attitude than that. Then, when we came back at 10:58am to get new keys - we went up to Mandy instead, & she said “You came to the wrong person because I don’t know what I’m doing”. Wow. Thankfully Philip (the Director) was there & he was able to assign us new keys. The fact that we had to come back from the beach for new keys was inconvenient but perhaps retraining these two young ladies should be your focus because they’re your first impression of the resort & a poor one at that.

It is an okay hotel, the amenities are great but far from all the water activities that we wanted to do. Also, the bed and pillows were super uncomfortable and for some reason the toilet water was always yellow.

The water in the toilets bathtub and sink were running yellow and very dirty. I wish I can upload video to show it. I left shortly after arriving and did not stay for the night. There’s no way I could’ve showered brush my teeth or washed my face in that water. I am currently waiting to hear back from Expedia about getting a refund.

The pool are was fantastic! People were very friendly and so family oriented. Great option for families or couples trying to get away for a weekend. Price point was right, even for a room with a river view. Definitely would come back!

The water in the sink, toilet, and bathtub is unusable, yellow/orange color and dirty. The room has bad smell and it's not truely a newly remodelled room as advertised, would not recommend anyone staying here.

The water in the hotel was brown , the lights in the bathroom were half working , and the bath entrance of the hotel was unsecured and open all the time . Anyone could enter the hotel without being a guest . Not good

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and kind at check-in. We didn't have much time to explore the hotel, but the pool and beach look like wonderful amenities we hope to use again another time. Easy parking in the free garage was also nice. We will now consider this hotel for all of our stays in Laughlin.

Nice place for a quick getaway, located south of Laughlin on the Colorado River. Besides a great swimming pool, the Avi also has a private beach on the river. The hotel and Casino is Tribal owned and is distant from the crowds of Laughlin.

The location is a bit out of the way, but that is a positive mostly. The fine dining restaurant was closed for most of our stay. The bathroom was stocked with just two bath towels. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

The stay was good , they have 3 pools and 2 water slides, a bar/ food service, very spacious. Food was good had a 24 hr Subway, Panda Express and Sbarros open during certain hours, Movie theater, kids arcades and then a day care for kids between a certain age with games, TV, and toys. Buffet is closed permanently which was disappointing and the water in the bathrooms, showers was not clear water. But other than that we will be back

The Moonshadow restaurant and especially Samantha made my dining experience very fulfilling. The room was clean and quiet. The golf course was in great shape and all combined made for an enjoyable weekend at the Avi.

We were not given the room with our family that we requested, we were in town for my father’s funeral and the conditions were terrible. Bug bites all over us, brown water and rude service. I asked to be put with my family and they refused. I asked for towels 3 times and they never came. The tv did not work, the refrigerator did not work. The whole experience was horrendous.

Super convenient location for my needs. My only complaint is the brown water in the sink, toilet, and shower. The casino is super smoky but I expected that and don’t really blame anyone. The a/c is good and the room was comfortable.

Staff is horrible they're all mad and rude for no reason, especially the cleaning staff. Hotel is in the middle of NOWHERE and super out dated everything is so old and broken in the rooms. Security is rude they treat everyone horribly. I would never ever rent here again. Pool is over crowded you can't even get in and the beach area is so SMALL there's food all over the floor.
